Two separate sources with links to the counter-intelligence community have confirmed to Heat Street that the FBI sought, and was granted, a FISA court warrant in October, giving counter-intelligence permission to examine the activities of ‘U.S. persons’ in Donald Trump’s campaign with ties to Russia.
Contrary to earlier reporting in the New York Times, which cited FBI sources as saying that the agency did not believe that the private server in Donald Trump’s Trump Tower which was connected to a Russian bank had any nefarious purpose, the FBI’s counter-intelligence arm, sources say, re-drew an earlier FISA court request around possible financial and banking offenses related to the server. The first request, which, sources say, named Trump, was denied back in June, but the second was drawn more narrowly and was granted in October after evidence was presented of a server, possibly related to the Trump campaign, and its alleged links to two banks; SVB Bank and Russia’s Alfa Bank. While the Times story speaks of metadata, sources suggest that a FISA warrant was granted to look at the full content of emails and other related documents that may concern US persons.

Trump nor his people did. This was a plan of attack which was hatched up by the globalist puppet masters. I heard from someone I trust (an investigator and former U.S. S/A) that Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE), Sen. Graham, Rep. Chaffetz were among the architects and conspirators of this disinformation and character assassination campaign early on. With, of course, the Demoncrats, MSM, et al. The plot and groundwork began late spring 2016. Surprisingly McCain, Ryan, McConnell were not. A book will be written which will rip the country in two.

I suspect the original FISA warrant that was denied was to tap everything going into Trump Tower. The later one might have just been the banking stuff. I don’t trust the kenyan and his minions of course to follow the warrant.
And G. Gordon Liddy NEVER squealed! He knew the democrats were doing what the Nixon administration did, and much worse. Too bad the republicans weren’t sophisticated enough back then, to fight that charge, and counterpunch. I’m not saying they didn’t hire someone to purloin records, but if they had been smarter, they would have taken every crooked democratic operative they could, down with them, instead of just rolling over.
Even if this FISA Warrant grant were true, and I doubt it, the Patriot Act was NEVER intended to go after private American citizens except where there were suspected ties to international terrorism.
Even if there were some smidgen of evidence of collusion regarding hacked e-mails from the DNC, this would not be the business of the Patriot Act.
No matter how you look at it, government spying on political campaigns is illegal. It reeks of Naziism and Fascism and the tactics of the KGB in the Soviet Union.
