Flashback-Schumer: ‘It Didn’t Matter’ AG Lynch Met with Clinton During Email Probe

After then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch confirmed she met with former President Bill Clinton on a plane last June, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) dismissed calls for an independent prosecutor to take over the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

Today, however, Schumer called for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign and demanded a special prosecutor because of a report Sessions had met with the Russian Ambassador in 2016, something he did not disclose during his confirmation hearings. Sessions denies the report and says he “never met with any Russian officials to discuss the issues of the (Trump presidential) campaign.” […]

“She’s an honorable person, we know that,” Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said. “She has said nothing was discussed related to the investigation. So you have two choices — to say this didn’t matter or she’s lying. I think it didn’t matter. I don’t think she’s lying.” … …

IMHO it was huge miscalculation and mistake for Sessions to hold a newser and state he is recusing himself --HE DID NOTHING WRONG OR ILLEGAL. This is a total BS story.
If Sessions or the Congressional disgusting spineless and gutless Repubs thinks this recusal will push the story off the FRONT PAGE ABOVE THE FOLD they could not be more WRONG. Both Piglosi and Schmuckie - the top two RATS in the District of Corruption - have called for Session's resignation and Waters has called for DJT's impeachment. They have one scalp already with Flynn and they are not stopping there.

The buttons are being pushed over there in Kalorama, calling out to the Old Stream Media to put the hurt on Sessions until he is destroyed and then going after DJT>

Obama’s goal, according to a close family friend, is to oust Trump from the presidency either by forcing his resignation or through his impeachment. And Obama is being aided in his political crusade by his longtime consigliere, Valerie Jarrett, who has moved into the 8,200-square-foot, $5.3-million Kaloroma mansion with the former president and Michelle Obama, long time best friends.

Note: I refer to this as the Shadow Government White House.

Jarrett played a vital – if at times low-key – role in the Obama presidency. She lived in the White House, dined with the Obamas, and help shape his domestic and foreign policies.

The former president has set up an office on the West End of the national’s capitol, where he recently hosted an open house for his White House staff – including Joe Biden, Susan Rice, Josh Earnest and Jarrett.

But the office, part of his post presidency perks, cannot be used for political purposes. The rent on his home is paid by him personally.

On Tuesday, former Attorney General Eric Holder revealed that Obama is indeed getting closer to making his public reappearance in politics.

‘It’s coming. He’s coming,’ Holder said speaking to reporters. ‘And he’s ready to roll.’

Well, there you have it. Loretta Lynch is an Honorable Person but Jeff Sessions isn’t.

That’s the same Jeff Sessions that has been Schumer’s Colleague in the United States Senate for decades.
