Wonder if mom made the dress? I used to make WWII uniforms for our son when he was about that age. It was so much fun! To this day we laugh at all the hours we spent boiling the pale fabric in bags and bags of tea to get the color just right. We modeled them on the uniforms we saw on the “Band of Brothers” series, and examined every button and tuck.
