Very good post, I’ve made the same comment several times before.

Melania is a wonderful role model for girls and young women

All the Wookie costumes were taken.
There were a number of things I didn't like about our previous ‘First lady’, but it rather grieves me that she should be disparaged for her large-bone physique and other features that were her genetic inheritance. We rational American conservatives should be better than that.

I wonder what Chris Cuomo thinks about her?

Yes, she was our first lady and that should be respected. Aside from that, she’s an American hating, racist piece of trash that did everything within her power to bring this country to it’s knees and sow division at every turn. I will heap all the scorn I please on this low life and never lose a minutes sleep. And as a conservative I will heap scorn all those of her ilk.

Yes! My first thought was that mom had serious skills in sewing that outfit. It’s beautiful and drapes perfectly.

Great, this post gives me an excuse to display another Melania pic (this one from the Joint Congress speech...)

My wife has that sewing skill. When my only daughter was 4 or 5 years old (and we lived in cold Massachusetts) she sewed two winters coats — one for my daughter, and a matching one for herself. Beautiful craftsmanship. She was so proud to have made those “pair look” coats. And together they looked fabulous.

Adorable. Good for this young lady who is not intimidated. Her choice of First Lady shows spunk. A future Norma Kamali?
Thanks PP

My mom is just as talented. Sadly, I never learned to sew.

Genetic inheritance hasn't stopped other tall women who don't slouch or lumber about. Frankly, wookies hold themselves up better. Don't wear clothing that emphasizes your big butt and panty lines. Don't wear sandals that show off your sixth toe or whatever that thing was. And speaking of things, strap your thing down so it doesn't make people wonder about what you inherited from daddy. Bone structure has nothing to do with having a bit of class.

That’s the way to wear a belt. What a refreshing change.

Maybe Melania wore that belt in the dress to show someone how it’s done!

You know, thinking again about how Melania has influenced this child in a positive way.  This unusual inauguration coat that reflected back to a greater American period -- it did its job.  Together, the coat and Melania's dignity impressed the child and her mom enough to emulate her in some way.

This is a very beautiful thing.  Repeat that same moment over many more occasions and it's a fine contribution to making America great again as anyone can give.  To raise a young girl to be a lady -- wow.  Nothing is more important to culture than that.

Thank you, Melania.  You are treating your First Lady role the way it's supposed to be done.  Simple acts of kindness, dignity, intelligence, and grace are sufficient to win the hearts of We the People.  In fact, we yearn for leaders and role models who reflect our values.
