A female protester on the streets of Portland, Oregon, got an agonizing lesson about the hazards of disrespecting law officers and not following orders.
The woman was marching during the liberal citys Not My Presidents Day protest Monday when she approached officers in riot gear and began displaying the middle finger right to their face. The police took her to the ground, but seemingly that wasnt enough of a warning to change her ways.
With the help of other protesters, the woman got up and went right back to getting in their faces and raising her middle fingers once again. A bit irritated with the protesters persistence, one officer fired a couple of rubber bullets into her torso at close range
You can guess what happened next. Video coverage of the shooting shows her getting knocked right off her feet!

And if that wasnt enough for you, here it is from another angle:

Sgt. Pete Simpson, a police spokesman, supported the officers response as essential to keeping the peace before things got out of hand.
We would much prefer things were different. But were sort of forced to be there now because of the aggressive nature of the, Were going to show up, were going to block streets, were going to shut the city down attitude.
The local media is reporting that 13 arrests in total were made. One of those arrests was actually a senior citizen, who ended up with a broken nose after he thought it would be acceptable to scuffle with police.
This protester hit with rubber bullets is an excellent example of why the rest of America has had enough of radicals. They want to go around shouting and screaming love trumps hate, yet they act like this when police come in to keep the public safe.
Do you think she deserved this treatment?
Two observations...
First, the manly men that were with her sure scattered fast once the rubber bullets started buzzing.
Second, who knew that liberals were so anti-public transportation.
What are they protesting for?
Looks like anarchists out for a bit of civil disruption and shutting down traffic , not a protest
When can we start shooting them?
Beat them like a baby seal.
No. I would have asked her if she wanted sharia law to replace the Constitution and when she said "yes" I'd have pulled out my handy bolt cutters and told her to stick that middle finger out again so I could give her a first hand example of what her new life would be unders sharia law.../s
She'd have to be stoned first or not wearing her burqah though...: )

Their asses can’t cash the checks their adolescent impunity and swagger writes. Did you note the slack arms and mouth of the tough grrrl when cops reacted? If I act the way she did I’m LOOKING FOR A FIGHT. (Which is why that act is fairly rare in me). These are children used to adults indulging them.
A better question...Did she bring this on herself?
I keep mine in the freezer.
Or bragging about her IQ.
Ah, but we have FReepers who insist that cities where marijuana is legal are bastions of liberty and lawfulness, and nobody’s rights are being violated.
I took a defensive baton course back in 2002. It was taught by a police officer. The head and spine are considered deadly targets and are to be avoided, unless there exists the justification to use lethal force.
The preferred method for taking down someone was to strike the side of the thigh. This is disabling. Srikesmto the side of the arm or forearm disable that limb. A thrust into the brachial plexus hurts and can be used to control the recipient to the ground.
The baton is a fearsome tool that provides a non-lethal defensive alternative.
Either way, she got her wish.
Those Freepers are Libertarians.
