Failing
After President Trump’s press conference last week, the liberal media went into its normal meltdown since he did not do it their way. You know, pandering to them because they are supposed to be the elites of media, they want to set the narrative in the media with their leading and off-priority questions, and not once being able to get a collective gotcha question to put the president on defense.
The liberal media doesn’t work for the American people!
It’s about time someone took them down a peg or two or three.
They have become so full of hubris as to think they are untouchable and unassailable.
They need a lesson in humility and objectivity.
They all aspire to be ‘journalists’ in the grand tradition of Murrow and Pyle. I bet not a one of them actually even write a journal..........................
It’s really easy to confuse people ... once the dog ate their moral compass and ‘logic’ is an alien concept. :)
The media in the New York/Washington axis have a very high opinion if themselves. They feel that they are some sort of arbiters as to what the news should be. And they feel that they are arbiters of what is the “correct” view of an issue.
On issues ranging from homosexual marriage to oil pipelines to global warming to illegal.immigration to education policy, the media tilt the coverage of issues , to push a liberal viewpoint. And the intent is that they home to convince their viewers that the liberal view is the opinion we should all have.
They have nothing left - they are running terrified because they know they have been totally unmasked and that their continued lies cannot be repeated enough to turn the tide back their way.
This film REALLY needs to be re-made.
This is the most effective way to look at the problem that has occurred to me yet (it is like a courtroom scene):
1) Using the facts that are the same for both sides, the lamestreams act as defense attorneys for liberals, cherry-picking and emphasizing only those aspects of the facts that present their liberal clientele in only the best light, with only the most noble motives.
2) Using the same facts, they act as prosecutors toward conservatives — picking and choosing only those elements of fact (with conjectures liberally thrown-in, with no judge to sustain our objections against conjectural assertions), and presenting and emphasizing only those aspects of the facts that tend toward showing conservatives in the worst possible light and motive.
We the people are the jury; but we’d be well-served by having an objective 3rd party. That is what the press is supposed to be, but they always seem to have a liberal dog in every fight. And they defend their dogs to the hilt, while turning shotguns on ours.
Gaslighting.
I spend a good part of my day telling people “put on the glasses”....they have no idea what I’m talking about.
During the debates and conventions, I learned to watch these on One America News, as OAN broadcasted these without commentary and allowed me to listen and make up my own mind, without the opinion spin of the common-taters, interfering with my viewing of an actual event.
