At, during and after Trump's presser the Press advanced the theory that Trump is responsible for destroying the credibility of the media. Even Trump accepted this premise somewhat at his presser. It is difficult to destroy that which is in ruins.

They only need to look at what they did to Sarah, to know why we do not trust them.
Look at the steady decline that has been taking place for years. The thing is they climb up on their high horse and attempt to blame President Trump for their unpopularity. They continue to think we are stupid and that is what is so disastrous about all this. They still refuse to look at themselves or admit any part in their lack of popularity.
Lyndon Baines Johnson who passed the Johnson Amendment. The Johnson Amendment, by silencing the Church with the threat of the IRS, the media had no competing argument for our thoughts and minds. With Trump being elected without the support of the media, he can expose the media for what it has become.
Even Trump has stated he will get rid of the Johnson Amendment.
Stupid media owners and stupid media reporters.
Dan Rather spent a career lying to viewers about everything from the Kennedy assassination and Watergate to Vietnam and the Middle East. He is maybe the genesis of fake news because when the pawns in the media saw teh acclaim he got and the awards bestowed up him, they all decided that was the way to riches and power.
IMHO. It started with Walter Cronkite and was carried on with Peter Jennings, Dan Rather and Tom Brokaw.
The internet which allows the truth to escape the clutches of the corrupt media. That is why the democrats and the UN are trying to block us from communicating with each other.
Note to self, title my vanities better. I know damn well who is responsible for the decline in the media. The title was meant to be rhetorical. I should have titled this thread:
“Trump is responsible for the decline in the reputation of the media, really?!?!”
The Russians did it that will be the medias next excuse they never run out of them it’s why they loved Obama.
That the truth about loss of press credibility is 'news' is more proof the press is totally clueless about what flyover citizens experience in their lives and reality.
It's the equivalent of us 'discovering' that gay people existed... and being surprised...

I was calling them the Ministry of Propaganda before Trump entered the picture.
They have been that for a long time.
They destroyed their own credibility with “undocumented workers” instead of the factual description, illegal aliens.
Many other examples of them twisting the truth to fit an agenda exist.
The media’s own hubris.
The INTERNET exposed them.
