There is actually a buying spree of firearms occuring with leftists since November and they are forming their own “resistance” groups. Factor in that with already armed islamists, anarcho-communists, criminal illegals, the BLM/NBPP and gangbangers and you have the makings of an armed insurgency capable of bringing chaos to major urban areas.

The correct question is How can the liberals, get command of the military, so as to go to war against the people who own most of the guns?
Don’t sell the leftists short - They may seem like wimps but they have absolutely no scruples when it comes to their beliefs.
Look at the millions killed by the Leninists, the Stalinists, the Maoists, the Khmer Rouge, Castro, etc.
They are ruthless and when it’s time for them to get arms they will.
Compare our polite Tea Party protests to the riots by the BLMs, the Berkeley SJWs etc. They are much more energized by and committed to their beliefs than we are to ours.
Liberals really don’t believe people they hurt will hurt them back because they have a higher intellect and are politically and morally correct.
Of course the radical fringe who are into violence accept the reality of retaliationa and are actually looking for it as a trigger to spur the millions of people on the left who they think are behind them. That’s how they foment riots.
Then when some college girl gets a broken nose they have disappeared into the night and the sewers.
You don’t think China (and Russia) will arm them? Train them? And hope to prolong it and have as many casualties, on both sides, as possible?

Thing is, they’re more willing to just haul off and start killing political opponents than the Right is. Just plain out-of-the-blue assassinations. Their friends are more likely to facilitate such actions (funding, equipping, hiding, alibis).
Go read “Days Of Rage”. Documents exactly such behavior & support in the ‘70s.
