Motion M-103 is scheduled to come up for a vote on Feb. 16. While it is a non-binding motion that does not have the force of law, it could very well mark the beginning of the end of freedom of speech in Canada as we know it.

The best answer to a resolution like this is to offer an amendment clearly denouncing “any false religion” that preaches violence against other faiths and that rejects the norms of a democratic society, including religious pluralism and the equality of women.

A bigger problem I could see is with our northern border. We’re hyper-focused on the southern border, and entities such as ISIS see that. If they can get into Canada, they know the northern border is very porous and easy to traverse on foot, something to which most jihadis are accustomed.
If they start loading their special brand of terrorism into Canada, it’s only a matter of time before crossing into America becomes a daytime backpack trip across the 49th parallel.

Dr. Jordan Peterson has explained this quite well, that saying you’re not allowed to criticize specific groups is a violation of freedom of speech while forcing someone to use a transgender’s approved pronouns is FORCED speech.
Canada never had freedom of speech.
