Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer on Saturday warned that President Donald Trump’s attack on a federal judge who issued a broad block on his travel ban would firm Democratic resistance to his nomination of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court.
“The President's attack on Judge James Robart, a Bush appointee who passed with 99 votes, shows a disdain for an independent judiciary that doesn't always bend to his wishes and a continued lack of respect for the Constitution, making it more important that the Supreme Court serve as an independent check on the administration,” Schumer said in a statement.
He added, “With each action testing the Constitution, and each personal attack on a judge, President Trump raises the bar even higher for Judge Gorsuch's nomination to serve on the Supreme Court. His ability to be an independent check will be front and center throughout the confirmation process.”

I have been, and I am, a strong Trump supporter.
But his “so-called judge” crack was foolish.
Schumer wants to continue to act like he is in control. I agree with another post. Time to go nuclear and get the show on the road.

Not only will we get this overturned, but we should make an example out of this pussified judge to send a message to the rest of em. Need to impeach and remove it’s sorry azz from the bench, preferably in cuffs.

Is this Chuck Schumer, who is crying about Trump criticizing a federal judge’s decision, and allegedly showing disdain for the judiciary, the same Chuck Schumer who is currently refusing to let any Democrat Senator meet with federal appeals Judge Gorsuch to discuss his nomination to the United States Supreme Court, the head of that independent Judiciary Branch?

The time is ripe for McConnell to tell Schumer that he is the fifth wheel on the wagon. Schumer is just wasting our valuable time by objecting to Pres. Trump’s excellent choices to lead the country.
