it was ok when Obama attacked the Supreme Court on national tv in the state of the union address over “citizens united”...where was all the hysteria then?

The congressional GOPe are trying to manipulate Trump’s agenda using congressional Democrats as attack dogs.

They can sit back and say nothing and then come forward when they have an angle to explore to get their own (donor) priorities implemented.

You may be on to something. They certainly seem to be moving slowly.

[It’s not Trump. It’s the Republicans who are quiet on every issue because they are afraid of helping Trump]

+1

I have said elsewhere that Trump has six months to decide whether or not to dispense with the GOP and run Trumpians in the 2018 midterms.

Enough of this. Go nuclear and bring it to a head. The time for nuance has passed.

It's time for a nice, hard, cold punch of reality to the chops of the senior senator from NY.

You aren't in charge of anything but a bunch of greedy communists that are about to get their Waterloo, Chuck.

MAGA!

Democrats still think they’re in control ,one party rule ,Democrat Party

There IS one party rule- REPUBLICANS. Democrats ranting and raving and threatening is like some senile old 89 year old Nazi, hiding in Argentina for 50 years, threatening what he's going to do with the Jews.

Yes, by all means Trump shouldn’t complain about a judge overturning laws that have been on the books since the 1950s, violating constitutionally mandated separation of powers, and usurping the President’s authority with a decision that was entirely political and had nothing to do with the law. Under leftists’ “logic,” speaking out against their attempts to destroy our legal system is showing “disdain for an independent judiciary” (i.e., judges don’t need to bother following the laws and Constitution—they should be allowed to do whatever they care to based on their personal feelings without any criticism for their treasonous and illegal activities.)

Now, if the anti-American leftists had also declared that Carter and Obama were violating the Constitution when they banned Iranians and Iraqis respectively, then that might be a different issue, but I’m tired of their unbelievable hypocrisy, double standards, lies, and fake outrage. It’s disgusting.

The judge should be impeached for disregarding our laws and attempting to usurp the powers of a properly elected president. We’d have no rule of law at all if the left had its way. They want our Constitution to mean whatever they prefer (which would make it mean nothing), they show constant contempt for law-abiding citizens and the police, while fawning over and fighting on behalf of criminals, and they have been working feverishly to undermine our sovereignty and our system of government and laws. It’s a challenge not to see these people as simply traitors to our nation.

> Democrats still think they’re in control

Well that's because they are, and until McConnell changes the filibuster rule it will remain so.

Right? Hasn’t he already listed half a dozen (at least) other reasons why he won’t be voting for the Supreme Court nominee?

...these judges are overstepping their authority and deserve to be criticized...

Many of these activist judges need to be impeached. But that would require our gutless Congress to take actions.
California citizens overwhelmingly passed Proposition 8 - Protection of Marriage (between one man and one woman) but the Sodomites, and their supporters, were able to judge shop and find a Sodomite Federal Judge to support overruling the will of the People. He was an outlaw judge fitted for an increasingly outlaw society.

It only takes 50, plus Pence.

Near as I can tell Schumer doesn’t get a veto.
