“While Garritano said she and her fellow organizers were “mad about literally everything,” they focused the protest on two specific issues of particular interest to the gaming community. The first was the proposed repeal of the Affordable Care Act, which she said “very specifically [affects] independent artists and developers. “

*****

I’m part of the gaming community too. But unlike these retards, I dont live in my mom’s basement.

“Could we have had a Stardew Valley—one guy just making a game—if health care wasn’t available to him. “

Wouldn’t it be nice if we were all philosopher kings, and could do whatever we wanted, without worrying about whether enough people were willing to pay for it.

Not possible, but if all of us were forced to chip in, then a select few like the Stardew Valley guy could live the dream. Wouldn’t that be grand?

[and] some of the people taking pictures were not just taking picture of the signs, but also probably thinking 'Why are they wearing kigurumi in the middle of San Antonio?

That was EXACTLY what I was thinking. Seriously. I couldn't get it out of my mind. Why? Why?? Why!?? WHY????!!!!

Another whacked-out cult of screwballs heard from...how exactly is Donald Trump going to affect your fantasies of spending the night with a large-breasted woman adorned in chain mail?

“dozens of PAX South attendees came together this weekend to show their solidarity and opposition to the current administration’s actions”

So a tiny minority of the convention. Big whup.

Remember “gamergate”? Most of this crowd, though perhaps not right wingers, are at least actively hostile to the PC-feminist-perpetual outrage crowd.

Still, with less than 24 hours notice, dozens of PAX South attendees came together this weekend to show their solidarity and opposition to the current administration's actions.

If that's all the gang she could muster, with all that technology at her fingertips, her organizing kung fu is not strong.
