President Donald Trump of the United States has once again set the media agog, as his newly formed government has deleted swathes of Barack Obama's pet policies from the White House website.
According to Daily Mail, deleted from the website were the phrases 'LGBT' rights and 'climate change.'
Following the development, reactions have been stirred all over Social media, and Nigerians have had their fair share of the matter, comparing the newly formed government of Donald Trump and the already established government of Nigeria as led by President Muhammdu Buhari.
Below are comments drawn from Facebook.
Former aid to President Goodluck Jonathan, seemed like one of the first Nigerians to have reacted to Trump's latest actions.
He said a prayer for Trump, while still kicking for the total eradication of laws protecting LGBT....

We are witnessing a truly incredible sea-change in the hearts and minds of people across the earth. I am truly proud to have taken part, and stood beside the populous of FreeRepublic in this endeavour, and all those of like mind who’ve fought for this reckoning.
I salute every single one. God bless us all.
And I'm fiercely proud of the most productive, hard-working, most dedicated, laser-focused patriotic American President since the Civil War and beyond.
Amen
These people are impressed with Trump! They, unlike most black Americans, look beyond the color of their skin (though I must admit there are also quite a few courageous black Americans that stand with Trump).
I was also impressed with the comments at the site after the article. They made their points without the use of nasty language. Also their religiosity sure comes through.
They decry the corruption in their country, and how difficult it is to eradicate. I wish them all the best. I think if more American blacks had those attitudes they would be doing significantly better. They need to get the hell out of the democrats’ plantation.
May God Bless The Deplorables, every one, every where!
While I agree with the sentiments, I think the above statement gives an insight on the disconnect between so many nations of the world and the United States.
It is the SAME government, same laws, etc. that we have had for over 200 years. Yes there will be changes, but most will come slowly, and within the Constitution (hopefully, unlike obama’s unconstitutional changes).
I watched Reagan's first inaugural speech the other day - amazing. He pointed out that what America has, with almost 200 years (at the time) of peaceful transition of power is a miracle, and is something many nations can only dream of.
Trump has done more in his sleep than zero did in his 8 years. Quote from Fox News Contributor.
When Rush Limbaugh caused a shock wave across this nation when he first went national. There were many conservatives who were led to believe they were the minority in this country. His voice gave a lie to that opinion. Rush changed the political landscape. He (and those that followed) laid the groundwork for someone like Trump.
President Trump is now giving a voice to those who believe it is not the governments business to mold the culture of a nation. His message resonates not only here in America but around the world. Anywhere the one world government crowd has been in control.
As President, he (Trump) can not do it all, but he can show others it can be done. The tyranny by minorities must come to an end.
“’Look, Donald Trump in the first four weeks of his presidency has done more to help this county than I think Barack Obama has done in the last four years,’ Trump’s former campaign manager (Corey Lewandowski) said.”
And he hardly ever sleeps.
