Monday in Miami after attending a Martin Luther King Day event, while commenting on the controversy over Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) saying of President-elect Donald Trump he didn’t “see the president-elect as a legitimate president” and Trump’s tweeted response, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said he “hoped” the Trump would have responded differently “given everything that John Lewis means to our country.”

Rubio is going to be the next McCain- big chip on his shoulder aimed at Trump and will be a constant thorn in the Trump agendas side. Rubio thinks this makes him look good and as usual would rather gain favor with the liberal press than help the Republicans. He should not have been elected.
The Robiobot is malfunctioning again. It should remember what Trump means to the American People.
Also, shouldn’t Cuban-American Rubio be more interested in Obama’s pro-Castro actions of the last week than this Lewis clown?. I imagine his constituents are....
The old Lewis may have meant something. That doesn’t translate into the present Lewis having some kind of halo.
A lot of folly needs to be unrolled in the civil rights movement, which got badly hijacked by racist agitators who really have a lot of cheek.

Statements that John Lewis made are detrimental to our country. A country that enabled him to rise from relative obscurity to be a Congress Critter. I believe in equal opportunity for everyone, and I’m getting tired of bigotry against white people.
Black leaders such as Lewis, Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson mean that we now have a bunch in the NAACP acting like the Stasi of communication by calling every thing they don’t like or agree with racist. Talk about Bitter Clingers - Clinging to a Jim Crow past that no longer exists, instead of moving forward with co-operation.

Rubio’s continued denunciations of Donald Trump are evidence that he’s not able to learn and therefore seems unfit for much of anything.

I am trying to recall one time where Dems were criticizing or challenging Obama...Frankly I can’t. Yet Ryan, Rubio, Amash, and Sasse all have in the past week. This needs to stop!
I hope Trump supporters from these traitors respective states will burn up the phone lines to their offices demanding that they their elected Reps/Senators behind the new President.

As an aside, prior to the election, I called my “public servants” to ask them if they were going to support Trump if he won...Never got an answer from one, got a yes from campaign staff of the other.
