Well here we go - the kickoff of Inauguration Week! And for the occasion were going back to our roots, shallow though they may be, of Lady Ms fashion iconery. Todays fashion commentary is sponsored by Gerard at American Digest where today you can find all manner of amazing information: an update on David Brooks, a Leopard selfie, a surprisingly up-close-and-personal account of the Penthouse years, a great rendition of David Bowies Heroes and much, much more!
Butt for my fashion post theres this, from Lady Ms most recent (and last as FLOTUS) appearance with Jimmy Fallon. For the pre-show surprise meet-and-greet with her fan club she chose one of her signature designer housecoats:
Which led Ace to ponder the eternal question: who wore it better?
The old battleship didnt really stand a chance.
In addition to the surprise thank you segment, where fan boyz and girlz got an opportunity to personally thank Lady M for her awesomeness, the Jimmy Fallon show also served as an unofficial going away (I wish) party for Lady M, with lots of guests like Stevie Wonder (which required a wardrobe change).
What a touching send off, filled with personal thank yous and messages.
This was my favorite note:
Like your mama taught you, if you cant say something nice
This is how you wear black and white

The poor woman seems to have a whole flash mob of oversized UPC barcodes stuck to her.
Mr. niteowl77
She’s a giant QR code!
“Who wore it best.” LOL oh my goodness.... so funny. I love Malkin’s bittyness. hehehehe.
Wow, is Jimmy Fallon really that tiny, or is Michelle Obama’s... person that large?
“The old battleship didnt really stand a chance.”
Down Periscope! DOWN PERISCOPE!!
Don’t laugh, dazzle camouflage fools the eye/brain. In that dress/coat you cannot easily tell if she is coming or going, size, shape etc.
Omar the tent maker will now be out of work.
Save at least one; The Wookie isn’t going away.

True, but somehow I doubt a dazzle pattern dress is considered “slenderizing.” :)
This is one of the ugliest dresses I have ever seen. That woman owns an amazing collection of hideous dresses, probably paid for by we the people.
It is impossible to dress a woman devoid of grace and beauty with a dress of grace and beauty.
Beep.....beep...beep.beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
And the Admins here have given me hard times for posting epileptic causing pics. Where are my vertigo meds?!!?
Back to the crack house with her!!
Moochelle: Does this zebra stripe dress make me look fat?
Zero: uh..no...but it won’t cover up the BBQ rib sauce well.
