Actors may make us laugh or cry. But they need to realize that the only words of theirs that matter are scripted
With less than two weeks before President-elect Donald Trump is sworn into office, liberal movie and TV stars were determined to use the 74th annual Golden Globes awards ceremony on Sunday to have the last word.
Tens of millions of Americans tune in to show every year for a good time, but this year they were subjected to the ravings of Meryl Streep, a crazed left-wing Hillary Clinton supporter (she spoke at the Democratic National Convention last summer) who just would not shut up.
Just waiting for the Oscars, Grammy’s etc. and anticipate more Trump bashing at those events.
Why do Hollywood idiots feel such a strong need to broadcast how liberal they are????? Are they trying to persuade us to be liberal; are they really so in love with their own opinions that they feel compelled to tell the rest of us how to think?
Wish Id said this.
Dear Hollywood Celebrities.
Its time to wake up now. The only reason you exist is for my entertainment. Some of you are beautiful. Some of you can deliver a line with such conviction that it brings tears to my eyes. Some of you are so convincing that you scare the crap out of me. And others are so funny that you can make me laugh uncontrollably.
But you all have one thing in common. You only exist to entertain me. Thats IT. Nothing else! You make your living pretending to be someone else. You are like a 5-year old playing dress-up. Your world is a make believe world. It is not real. It doesnt exist. You live in front of a camera while the rest of us live in the real world.
You are overpaid crybabies. Your entire existence depends upon my patronage. I crank the organ grinder and you dance. So therefore, I dont CARE where you stand on the issues. Honestly, your opinion means nothing to me. Frankly your opinion matters less to me than the opinion of somebody living in Timbuktu. Believe it or not, you are not real.
When I turn off the TV or shut down my computer, you cease to exist. Once I am done, you are too until such time as I decide to turn you on to once again entertain me.
I dont care if you think BP executives deserve the death penalty. I dont care what you think about the environment or if you believe man-made global warming is going to destroy the planet. I dont care if you believe fracking is bad or if you want more gun control. And I really could care less if you voted for Hillary for President.
So, get back into your bubble. I will let you know when I am again in the mood for something scary or funny to laugh at. And one other thing. What was all this talk about leaving the country if Donald Trump wins? Dont you realize how stupid that makes you sound? I better not vote for Trump because we will lose Whoopie Goldberg? Al Sharpton? Amy Schumer? Go ahead and LEAVE! I dont care.
Just make sure you dont let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.
Make me laugh, make me cry, make me scared. But just remember all your words that matter to me are scripted. Just like your pathetic little lives. I may agree with some of you some of the time, but just remember that in the final analysis you only exist for my entertainment.
A Deplorable
I don’t know why she’s considered to be so popular. I saw her in the Deer Hunter and that movie with Greg Kinnear where he was a Siamese twin. I didn’t think she was all that memorable or good looking.
They believe that they are our betters. We are mere peasants in their eyes.
They laugh at the people who pay them. And why shouldn’t they. People keep paying them.
Post Of The Day! My thoughts exactly. Self-important people should sit down and be quiet. Save the emotion for in front of the camera.
What egotists. I guess they don't need the work. If so, we all win.
