Diane Feinstein explaining that an Attorney General must not merely do the bidding of the President of the United States but must see that all the laws enacted by our country must be faithfully enforced regardless of whether the law is something he personally agrees with or not.
Miss Lindsey needs to go to the other side of the aisle. It’s sorry when a GOP Senator is rougher on the candidate than the opposition party.
Turban Durbin up now. Might have to turn it off.
Holder and Lynch conveniently forgot about "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED."
I think people confuse us judges with us attorneys.
When Clinton came into office he fired every US Attorney appointed by Republicans. He did this through his attorney general. I think there were almost 100.
When Bush was elected his base expected him to do the same. Instead he largely left all of Clinton’s appointees in place.
WHERE was Diane FineSTAIN for the last 8 years .....
TENDING HUBBY’S REAL ESTATE BIZ???
Right, two New Black Panthers with bats outside a voting station was OK under Obama.
That’s not how he conducted himself. If you’re watching it was quite clear he was being extremely sarcastic and quite effective of his Demonrat collegues and fully supportive of Sessions. When someone does right call it out and not critical just because he is a worm. I don’t want others who aren’t watching this to get incorrect news about his stance reading these comments
Great Truth to keep in mind right now.
Thanks for posting it S&SF.
This years Cindy Sheehan...
Well, I have to give it to Ted Cruz. He’s ripping the hypocritical RAT Senators a new one.
He SCORCHED them
That was breathtaking; notice it completely deflated the RATs. Mike Crapo is ripping flesh, too, with a touch less drama.
Every one of these RATS make me sick. Their only aim is to re-frame the entire debate so it’s all about placating their leftist agenda.
These losers are showing full well why something like 7% of the American people approve of them.
I loved both and the emphasis Cruz placed on the unlawfulness of the prior administration
Her words finally prove she’s been doing bath salts.
MenSeekingMen is gonna have a hard time re-broadcasting the extra-long stint of the protesters half-way through Ted’s Cruz missile without showing him, but they’ll find a way.
H/T BGS:
Sen. Cruzs statement:
But heres the kicker. Many of Sessions opponents actually believe the Justice Department does not need reform. To them, the lawlessness is a feature, not a bug.
President Obamaand Eric Holder and Loretta Lynchdid not mess things up, in this view. Rather, they successfully transformed the DOJ from a law enforcement agency to yet another law enhancement agency. To them, Sessions is a threat because of his impartial commitment to the rule of law.
It speaks to the character of his supporters in Vermont.
This sounds like “future amnesty”...don’t do it, Jeff!
“Sessions said, [is] lets fix this system and then we can work together after this lawlessness has been ended and then we can ask the American people and enter into a dialogue about how to compassionately treat people who have been here a long time.
I’m sorry, but my take on it was that Lindsey was goading Sessions into admitting that the Russians had an impact on the outcome of the election, through hacking.
If enforcing the law is such a big deal to them the dreamer needs to be gathered up and deported.
Most of the leftist activists could likely be gathered up as well for something against the law if one checked them out.
Pretty sure they don’t really want all the laws enforced, just certain laws against certain people.
Like immigration laws????
