First I’ve heard of this news. John Key was out in December.
This blog is the first source, near as I can tell, to suggest a potential scandal was the reason for the surprise resignation.
Between this and the infamous anti-Israel resolution sponsored by New Zealand, I'm really shocked and wondering what the hell is wrong with the "conservative" government over there. I have a friend in NZ that said their slimy UN Ambassador has some cushy farm deal paid for by Saudi money (so the Screw Israel resolution was a Quid pro quo), but that still doesn't explain Key's government funding the Hilderbeast.
Shame. I didn't think Key was as conservative as our guys, but I always figured he was on our side.
