The Washington State Attorney General's Office last week filed a most unusual consumer protection lawsuit charging a Seattle man with running a scheme for nearly a decade where he set up a fake talent agency for adult entertainers in order to trick women into posing nude and having sex with him.
Michael-Jon Matthew Hickey is accused of creating a fictitious business and using deceptive ads with bogus employment offers to find his victims. The lawsuit alleges Hickey offered and advertised commercial services solely for his "own personal gain" and to "satisfy his sexual desires" with no intention of following through on the promised services to help these women find jobs....

I consider myself a one man adult entertainment industry but I don’t charge.
Was he claiming to be recruiting for FOX News?
Ping!
Mr. Hickey! My daughter (working behind the counter) was told by some guy that he and his wife would like to hire her for their business. I told her to be VERY careful with offers like that.
How can a whore who was contracted into filming a ‘porn-movie’ deal claim to be the victim of sexual harassment by her prospective employer?
So, she schlonged a stranger for his own gratification? Well! Lawsuit! Isn’t that what whores generally do? HA!
Darn! Foiled the next move: Make my little biz a church! (no taxes)!
I don’t see a problem. Slutty women doing for free what they wanted money for.
“Fake Agent” is the theme of a porn series....I’m told.
She didn’t know she was being raped until she realized there were no cameras.
When I apply for a job, it is not unusual to be put through my paces with a test.
Would you hire a dancer without seeing if she can dance?
Would you hire an actor without seeing if he can act?
This does not rise to the level of “harassment”.
And if he paid them for their performance (and filmed it), it conveniently protects him from pandering/prostitution charges because he was “making a film” even if it is never distributed to a wider (or paying) audience.
I hadda start charging.
Line was wrapped around the block.
There are several companies liek this through out the world. They actually video tape the encounter and then post it to the internet. The ads are run to draw in wannabe “models”. An interview takes place in which the interviewer entices the would-be model by saying they could make more money in the adult industry through various types of shoots. Usually they quote 1K to 5K per day or per shoot. The caveat is that there is usually a producer who needs to see the would-be model in their birthday suit before they can send the would-be model off to a shoot for their company. Then the interviewer entices the would-be model to perform by saying they need to make sure they feel comfortable in front of a camera and need to perform. That is how it is done. The would-be models ask if they are getting paid and the answer is always not at this time. The interviewer knows there will be no job for them and no payment for their performance. All the models either agree or disagree. If they disagree they are usually free to leave under the auspice there will be no job.
The problem is that performance is done in the expectation that the audition as it is sometimes called, is done in the prospect of receiving a role in an adult film/scene. All performances are consensual as the would-be model is usually free to leave at any time. Howver, this could lead to the same auspices of sexual harassment one would find if they were to work for a company like Amazon. The boss has the power and uses that power to manipulate the underling into doing what the boss wants in return for better work conditions. The flip side to this is that this is an adult industry position and like any role for a part in an acting capacity must audition for the part to get the part. Where it goes wrong is if there is no part to begin with. We’ll see how this plays out. There are several companies like this not just in the USA but throughout the world.
I won't say what I wrap around the block.
Post #14 :
zaxtres ~ you seem to be so well informed, so I must ask ~ are you a porn-producer?
:^)
Obviously takes two to tango....
Whores get paid. Having sex for free isn’t what they do. In fact, their union has been trying to outlaw “amateurs” from having sex for free with boyfriends and husbands.
