$3 million wasted in the meantime
I suppose this is what a Jill Stein presidency would have been like, except that it would have been hundreds of billions wasted on pointless exercises instead of a mere $3 million. We Michigan taxpayers should be grateful, I guess, that we only got a taste of such absurdity - however bitter the taste may have been.
After several days in which state courts tussled with federal courts over whether the recount should go on, U.S. District Judge Mark Goldsmith finally came down on the side of the state and ruled that the recount needs to stop - because there was never any legitimate legal cause for it in the first place:
The purposed was to stir the democrats up and delegitimize Trump’s presidency.
Aren't you glad she's not your mother-in-law.
I’m so confused...
One day there is, another day there isn’t...
Can someone help me out here. They ARE having recounts in Wisconsin, and some are recounting by hand, others are not...? Is there a legal battle to shut down the Wisconsin selective recounts?
What is happening in Pennsylvania? Again, I just see one conflicting story after the next...
Jill Stain should be arrested if she ever sets foot in michigan again.
The moment they found fraud they shut down the recount.
This RAT hack judge stopped the recount because Wayne County(Detroit)
was about to be exposed. There was a mother lode of RAT fraud in Detroit.
They’re still counting in WI. PA has a hearing pending in Federal Court IIRC but I don’t think there’s any chance a recount will proceed there. Without MI any recount is just an exercise in futility...which is what it’s been since day one.
What about Florida? Aren’t they having a recount there?
Some local activists have filed to demand one, but I think that’s as far as it’s gone.
Thank God for a judge with common sense and integrity.
I take that back.
After reading some of the comments, yes, I agree that it was because of the fraud that was about to be exposed in MI. I can easier see it as someone doing a CYA than a genuine concern for what is right.
I don’t know what came over me.....
Must be coming down with something.
So now that they exposed fraud, couldn’t there be a legitimate case for demanding an investigation........ AFTER Trump is in office?
The court battles are over in MI for now and the recount has stopped. Main reason being that Stein had no legal standing to demand a recount as there was no way she could have won the election.
They’re close to being finished with the recount in WI. As of yesterday, they were 85% done, so they’ll probably finish by the end of the week. Little change from the initial count. Clinton has picked up maybe 80 votes.
In PA, there will be a court hearing Friday.
This article may help:
Yes, they very definitely need to investigate. That, and there needs to be a whole new push for vote integrity, and this has to include an audit of the rolls, and an insistence on photo ID. Many countries have voter ID cards, others use their national ID cards, I can’t think of any that allow people to vote without proving they are a voter.
Somebody said something about wanting a recount in FL but Gov. Scott said the votes already certified and we’re not recounting. I haven’t heard anything since then.
The Michigan AG will be investigating that Wayne County fraud.

It is never a waste when liberals lose their money, especially if the money goes into the pockets of republicans
Thank you!
Well, if he’s at all serious about “draining the swamp”, voter fraud is at the heart of the matter.
