Jake Hamby a former Combat Camera dude/Aspiring Filmaker/Duel-Sport Enthusisast” working near Bashiqa, Iraq came across a captured ISIS .50 cal rifle. 
The gun was captured by Peshmerga forces while fighting against ISIS, located near the Mosul district of northern part of Iraq. This flintstone rifle was recovered by the Free Burma Ranger team. Viewing this rifle, its obviously a DIY .50 cal used for "sniping". See the rest of the Flintstone rifle here.

I’ve shot a lot of firearms in my life, including a couple of .50 Browning rifles, but I’m not sure I would light off a .50 in that! I suppose a real man should be able to fire the first shot out of that without flinching?
Impressive. The builder graduated from boiler making and pipe fitting to talented gunsmith.
The builder is obviously a Fallout4 fan.

Dont discount the mayhem a primitive device can do.
It’s begging to be fired-off from a bench vise, with a 75ft lanyard.
The packing tape holding the rear stock onto the receiver is a nice touch.
Not sure I want to be on either end of it. But I would not discount the ability of the rifle to get rounds downrange with some accuracy.
Most of the needed accuracy would be in the barrel, which is likely a standard barrel from another weapon. I doubt the lock will hold up for more than a couple of hundred rounds, but that may be a realistic service life in the combat situation they are in.
The scope looks to be a commercial model. I doubt that it cold stand up to more than a few shots. The .50 pack quite a wallop.
Headspacing problems would show up on the brass before it would blow up, most likely. If you examined your brash you could probably figure out when you would need to adjust the headspace...
