The Texas Governor should activate the Texas national guard with orders of shoot to kill any suspect invader.Or deputize anyone that wants to be a Ranger to protect the border and do the same or both.
Obeying and enforcing only the laws he wants should be civil right extended to all citizens. We need a new amendment.

Seems I remember Congress suing the executive branch to force it to implement programs Congress had approved and funded. Not sure how the timeline works, but it seems like this would be one of those times.
Even a resolution passed demanding that the President continue the aerial surveillance would be better than no response.

An extension of civil forfeiture to cover illegal aliens without a statute of limitations would go a long ways towards cleaning up this mess. The forfeitures should be shared with the arresting agency and the Federal Government after expenses. Lawyers who loose cases protecting illegal aliens should be considered partners in crime and share in the forfeitures and deportations.
Deer hunting season just began here in Texas. Lot of folk heading out to expensive leases for some quality time practicing their marksmanship and maybe bringing home some good meat.
But if you find hunting leases are too expensive, how about a hunting trip to the border? There are no lease charges and there are targets aplenty. Just bring yourself, your weapons and your food. Also there is no limit!

That means one who is naturally an American because they couldn’t be anything else, born here of citizen parents.
Everyone in DC wanted that changed without the hassle of amending the Constitution.
The Senate passed a resolution declaring McCain a natural born citizen because he had TWO citizen parents, even though he was born in Panama.
Then Obama runs and wins based on just being born here, even though he told us on his website he was born a British subject.
So the standard went from born here of citizen parents to just TWO citizen parents to just being born here in one election cycle without amending the Constitution.
According to this standard the recently deceased King of Thailand was eligible, he was born in Cambridge MA.
This was done intentionally because Rubio (no citizen parents), Cruz (foreign birth, one citizen parent), Jindal (no citizen parents), George P Bush (one citizen parent) and Haley (no citizen parents) were all ineligible and the future of the GOP.
