George Soros and other liberal mega-donors are gathering in Washington for a three-day, closed-door meeting where they will discuss opposing Trump’s plan for his first 100 days in office.
According to Politico, the meeting, which began on Sunday night at Washington’s Mandarin Oriental hotel, is sponsored by the influential Democracy Alliance donor club and will include darlings of the left such as House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi, Senator Elizabeth Warren and Congressional Progressive Caucus co-chairman Keith Ellison.
Politico reports:
The meeting is the first major gathering of the institutional left since Trump’s shocking victory over Hillary Clinton in last week’s presidential election, and, if the agenda is any indication, liberals plan full-on trench warfare against Trump from Day One. Some sessions deal with gearing up for 2017 and 2018 elections, while others focus on thwarting President-elect Trump’s 100-day plan, which the agenda calls “a terrifying assault on President Obama’s achievements — and our progressive vision for an equitable and just nation.”
Yet the meeting also comes as many liberals are reassessing their approach to politics — and the role of the Democracy Alliance, or DA, as the club is known in Democratic finance circles. The DA, its donors and beneficiary groups over the last decade have had a major hand in shaping the institutions of the left, including by orienting some of its key organizations around Clinton, and by basing their strategy around the idea that minorities and women constituted a so-called “rising American electorate” that could tip elections to Democrats.
The Democracy Alliance has fed upwards of $500 million toward liberal activist groups and candidates since Soros co-founded the groujp in 2005.
All members of DA are required to give $200,000 a year

They're just getting around to this now? Were they that confident of a Clinton victory? Hate to say it guys ... okay, that's a lie, I love to say it - if you're just starting to consider how to thwart President-elect Trump now, you are months behind the curve. Months behind and will never catch up.
I don't have an "in" to the Trump campaign, don't know his plans etc. But I do know that there is no way he was so successful in business and deal making by waiting to complete one move before contemplating the next. President-elect Trump no-doubt had plans for his Presidency before he even decided to run, else why would he run - just to see if he could win? {snort} He almost certainly had a reasonably detailed outline of his plans for the first year completed months ago. President-elect Trump and his crew probably already know what objectives, options, and capabilities Soros et. al. have and generally what will be discussed and what the likely outcomes are. If you're not 3 to 5 moves ahead, you're behind.
We lack an extradition treaty with Russia. Perhaps it should be high on the list WRT establishing fresh relations with them.
GOOD TO READ! One day, Soros’ money is going to run out and his attempts to bring his globalist, leftist, agenda into reality will prove fruitless. Maybe that day has already come!

I believe Putin and Trumpmwill develop a very good working relationship based on mutual respect for each other as men. Assuming I’m correct. Putin will take Soros off our hands and deal with him accordingly.

I see the statement that Soros will run out of money and his plans will come to a halt. Do the people making this statement not understand that once you control a certain amount of money you can’t not earn more? The Soros income, like that of Trump, Zuckerberg or any other billionair is on-going. Self replenishing. Damn near infinite.... Soros is not going to “run out of money”. If that’s your planned endgame you’ve lost the game. His ideology and goegraphical security must be compromised and defeated. If his personal security (I suspect he has more efficient, better trained personal security than that provided by the Secret Service to the President) can be breached and he can be physically arrested and deported to Russia that might, MIGHT put a stop to him. It might but he could probably buy his way free. The Russian government is even more corrupt than that of Obama, if that is believable.
Keep planning douche bag you really have no power anyway. If you Soros couldn’t stop a candidate Trump how do you think you will stop a President Trump? Just go away and suffer.
