Trump's support of a national right to carry has some gun control advocates concerned.

What, apart from an outright repeal of the 2nd Amendment, DOESN'T have "gun control advocates" concerned?

You know what concerns me? The animals rioting in the streets because government power *might* be slightly reduced in the next 4 years.

States never have the “Right” to abridge or censor any of our Natural Rights from God which are unalienable. That includes freedom of speech and thought and association which are all abridged and censored now. This is unconstitutional and our Natural Rights from God have to be restored now if we are to have a Constitutional Republic again.

Obscenity is never a natural right-—nor any vice. Justice Systems only promote “public virtue” (as in Christian Ethics only since Christianity is the most rational religion in the history of man. Just Law is based on Right Reason according to Natural Law (which is a Christian concept of Free Will and Individualism which comes from Natural Law/God’s Laws.

All “Law” which is antithetical to the Constitution (our Supreme Law of the Land) is “null and void” (Justice Marshall/Nuremberg Trials/MLK, Jr.).

Good for President-Elect Trump and true freedom.

National Right To Carry would be wonderful, especially in view of the unpredictable and violent anti-America protesters.

Gun control advocates can move to the nation of their choice, if they will feel safer there.

This is America, the land of the Free and Brave.

We have the Second Amendment, and it means something.

IF they want to keep screwing with it, just tell them you’ll listen when they start whittling away at the amendments that grant Blacks equal treatment.

Of course we don’t want that, but it’s a great way to drive home the fact that the 2nd Amendment is just as sacred as any other amendment, and they need to step back and stop this nonsense.

Unnecessary. The Constitution has a “Full Faith and Credit” clause. States that don’t rcognise a carry permit are in violation of the Constitution, and a reformed Supreme Court will strike their “laws” down.

I think Trump's Second Amendment Coalition is going to mean great things for our firearm rights.

https://www.donaldjtrump.com/press-releases/donald-j.-trump-announces-second-amendment-coalition

He's named a coalition of about 60 people to advise him on Second Amendment issues, headed up by Donald Jr. and the NRA's Chris Cox. The coalition consists of a lot of heavy hitters such as NRA board members & former board members, people like Ronnie Barrett, hunters, competitive shooters.

These people will have his ear in a major way.

I’m hoping he takes a look at the NFA-68. At minimum the tax and paperwork for suppressors and like items. Removing the restrictions on Full auto firearms would be a dream.

...he wants to defend the rights of "law-abiding gun owners"...

Nowhere in the second amendment are gun rights restricted to the law-abiding. He who should not be trusted to be armed should not be free.

And here in New Jersey if I purchase or carry a weapon without government permission, I am no longer a law-abiding citizen. What do they find confusing about "shall not be infringed"?
