SAD PUPPIES! (My vanity and yes I be a donor!)

Many Sad Puppies at work today. I grinned broadly and thought of Conan the Barbarian.

"Conan! What is best in life?"

"To crush your enemies -- See them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women!"

My first hearing of the Trump Triumph.

My radio alarm went off and the first words I heard were:

"President-elect Trump"

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Didn’t take much for me to get into a mildly uncomfortable moment with a Hillary supporting co-worker today. Maybe I breathed too deeply, maybe I looked left instead of right. Whatever, this sad kid was immediately on the defensive with his feathers ruffled.

barkie had to open his fat mouth, yammering on about bipartisanship. Whatever happened to bringing a gun to a knife fight?

They’d be sadder if the MSM hadn’t collectively frozen the electoral map in time. They refuse to give the real electoral tally, which I calculate should be:

306 to 232

If the situation were reversed, I doubt many of us would be in a good mood. Hopefully we’d be more mature about our disappointment.

I don’t start political discussions at work, however I have been on the receiving end of pretty much harassment at times this election. I did not start stuff today and will not. All I have to do is grin in their faces.

A lot of penetrating gazes from (female mostly) colleagues. They are utterly convinced that Trump ran on a racist, misogynist, xenophobic platform. Utterly convinced. Most comments have been a long the lines of "I now know the truth about my country . . . it's never been what I believed it to be."

I would love to let them know that those were my sentiments exactly when 8 years ago the American people voted for socialism and the fundamental transformation of America. Not that they would get it . . . they only saw a black guy.

I stayed up until 1:30 AM this morning until I saw Drudge report Trump the winner.

In 2004, I took the day after elections off, and walked into the bar, all the regulars were huddled at the short end of said bar, looking quite glum. As I walked in, I said: "Hi, guys, why the long faces?" Ain't I such a rotten bastard? Ya see, John Kerry had held a rally across the street earlier that summer, and they were all rabid democrats, bummed that old horse-face lost.

Eight years ago, I was feeling very unhappy about the election of Obama. I didn't go on a screaming rant. I kept it inside. But I was unhappy.

I don't recall one single Democrat reaching out to make me feel better about it.

Screw 'em

2nd worst. The ‘honor’ of having the worst goes to that ugly, talentless twit Lena Dunham. Yuck!
