Nephew: George W. Bush may vote for Clinton
Politico ^ | November 1, 2016 | Christiano Limo

George P. Bush said Tuesday that his uncle, former President George W. Bush, may join his grandfather George H.W. Bush in casting his ballots for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump, according to the Associated Press.

The Texas land commissioner made the comments while addressing a small Republican rally in San Marcos, Texas, on Tuesday night, saying that both former presidents in the family may "potentially" vote for the Democratic presidential ticket come Election Day.

Later asked to clarify his comments by the AP, George P. Bush said that he was just "speculating" and couldn't say with certainty how they'd vote.

POLITICO reported in September that George H.W. Bush plans to vote for Clinton over Trump on Nov. 8, according to the member of another prominent political family, Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, daughter of the late Robert F. Kennedy.

They are establishment, and Trump will disenfranchise the establishment. I personally don’t see how you could vote for Hillary if you believe in honesty and love America.

Bush the Lesser is not and never has been a conservative. He was simply gracious enough to throw an occasional morsel to the pro-lifers who worked to get him elected. The GOPe will NEVER eradicate Roe v. Wade. That’s the last thing that the Bush family and other entrenched party elites want to happen. By keep promising that they will abolish abortion but never ACTUALLY doing anything about it, they keep the evangelicals voting straight Republican. It’s why the thought of Trump as President horrifies them so much. Trump in the Oval Office is going to demand action and results. The days of playing at doing work and fooling the peasants is over.

Do you go to the same church as him?

The Clintons also made an abject fool of Bernie, and he is still stumping for her. He has Stockholm Syndrome as well.

“P” needs to be voted out of his first TX state job. He’s done nothing since he was voted in (because of his last name) except campaign for his father, Jeb, Obviously the job of Land Commissioner could be axed with no noticeable effect except saving $185,000 annually on his salary.

One would think the left would have some cognitive dissonance in regards to this but no. Any group that can countenance mass murder and applaud it has no trouble with any contradictory data that enters their minds. Yesterday W was a moron. Today he has seen the light.

This is all personal. They’re still pissed about the way Trump put Jeb through the Vegematic during the primaries.

No one but a traitor to the United States of America, or a dead person, would vote for Hillary Clinton.

Don't oversell Bush's pro-life credentials.

His first choice to fill a Supreme Court vacancy was that empty dingbat Harriet Miers.

The dirty little secret here that you touched on is that there would be almost no difference between a Hillary Clinton administration and the George W. Bush administration. They are both owned by big-government globalists who don't have the interests of this country in mind.

There is no principle a Bush will not abandon in order to keep their place at the crony trough.

And besides- being loud about it will mollify their friends in Riyadh.

I was never fooled by the Bush family or this stupid dolt, GW Bush. The self-proclaimed war hero father (a highly decorated crew member is a plane following who had no particular political motivation always maintained he saw him needlessly bail out of his plane, leaving his crew to die; GHW Bush changed his story numerous times); his vengeful mother (perhaps due to drink Barbara didn’t go to Nancy Reagan’s memorial service); his equally stupid brother Jeb. The one good thing that the Bush family has done in this election is reveal their true colors - they will never have a future in the Republican Party or what’s left of it after this election.

If one researches it, persecution of Christians in Iraq definitely started during the Bush administration. I liked GWB too; but the more I looked into this issue, the more I was disappointed at what I found out.

And then, there is the open-borders issue where it seems they were additionally lenient.

It’s really sad how many people were run off FreeRepublic because they were very vocal about not drinking the GWB Kool-Aid 10-12 years ago.

No crap.

Bush and Clinton crime families are two sides of the same coin.

The Clintons are at least honest saying they’re pro choice when running for office.

Some of us have defended W’s record more than W himself has. Let’s not forget him cavorting with Michelle Obama as well a few weeks ago.

You ever notice that the #NeverTrump Republican pundits on TV that the MSM trots out often have personally worked for either Bush, McCain, or Romney (in Bush’s case, his Administration and in the case of the other two, for their campaigns)?
