Nudge Theory by Richard Thaler and Cass Sunstein says people should be given a limited range of choices and nudged toward what elites consider the right one. What are the problems with nudge theory, and how are people pushing back?
Liberals have a real god complex.
There will be no easy or painless way to really push back against the leftist, globalist social-engineers who control our government, major corporations and cultural institutions.
You beat me to it you rat!! HAHAHA!!
“There is nothing theoretical about The Nuge”
Got that right. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Every now and then the power elite has to be bitch slapped back into place. This is one of those times.....
No doubt, according to Richard Thaler and Cass Sunstein, “Stalinist apartment blocks are good for you, comrade.”
Stated a little more clearly, they believe people should be stripped of their rights and freedoms and given what their masters in the government will allow them to have.
No thanks. I had rather die trying to stop you evil ba$t@rds.

How about the polls and surveys on issues that presume big government and the only question is WHICH big gov approach to choose?
How about the surveys that leave out the obvious choice?
Last week and early this week Trump campaign sent me polls that did not give Obamacare as one of the 12 or 14 options listed for Trump to focus on in the last weeks of the campaign.
Yesterday I received another questionaire and this time it did list Obamacare as an option. Maybe the Trump campaign heard us out here?
Jury nullification is a start.
Sit-ins are effective along with blockades.
and only they are allowed to come up with the allowable “few options”...yeah, don’t think so...I got some options I’d prefer to propose and they don’t seem to include any of yours...hmmm.
There is no situation in which government should fund efforts to nudge our behavior. They can require paying taxes. They can forbid murder and rape (except by those with special connections, like Hillary and her horndog hubby). But they cannot ethically compel or even nudge our actions beyond passing and enforcing criminal laws.
One thing I would like to see under Trump is the elimination of ALL tax laws designed to encourage/discourage behaviors or other social engineering. Taxes should exclusively serve the purpose of collecting revenue. The same goes for other social engineering efforts. Let’s cut government back to its proper role and nothing more.
That’s part of what made the tax code as complicated as it is - trying to use the promise of tax breaks and rebates to shape behavior.
