Hugh Hewitt said that the presidential race was over last Monday, today he's saying the opposite

Interesting: --Hugh Hewitt, said last week on his radio show that the presidential election "is over", in fact he said "it's over" at least half a dozen times. He said to move on and focus on the congressional races. --This morning Hewitt said that the presidential race is NOT over, that the most reliable polls show the race to be a dead heat --Head of the GOP in Ohio is now supporting Trump (boo hoo for crybaby Kasich) --Mark Levin (anti-Trump for a long, long time) has finally grudgingly endorsed Trump, spends a lot of time with a NeverHillary discussions

.............interesting pattern here in the last two weeks of the campaing. Do you have any other examples of anti-Trump media personalities/politicians who are suddenly saying they support Trump? interesting..........

‘I actually used to enjoy this RINO fool’s radio program.’

Ditto.

I only listen now to hear his bufoonish statements and analysis.

I guess he ‘grew’ since he became part of the MSM.

Hugh IS a cuckservative establishment spineless turtle, but he always made it explicitly clear he was never a #nevertrumper.

He is too friendly with Beltway Journ-O-Listers like Jake Tapper and Candy Crowley, who have clearly been revealed to be Democrat operatives. He defends them even when they’re indefensible.

Like a lot of people he gets sucked into that world and completely loses touch with what people are thinking out here in flyover country.

I’ve never listened to Hugh but would be inclined to agree that last week things didn’t look good for Trump. That said it appears the Emperor has no clothes when it comes to Hillary. Her support is terrible. I mean really bad. She won’t win.

Prager is in about the same boat as Levin...doesn’t like Trump too much but is #neverhillary. Except Levin was for Cruz in the primary and Prager seemed to favor Rubio more than anyone else. Prager was another guy who was all-in on Romney in the last primary though, so he doesn’t always seem to vote as conservative as he talks. He tends to come down to, I believe in these conservative principles, but they won’t win at the ballot box so we need to support someone squishy.

Don’t read into this. We are now seeing the next phase all over the country, which is a directive to stop talking about the insurmountable lead HRC has, so that it will not suppress the democrats voting and there will still be a turn out at the polls for her. They are now going for a MANDATE of allowable corruption within our government. What better way for Hillary to begin her reign?

Hugh had Jennifer Rubin on his show as a regular...the one RINO journalist who above anyone else absolutely has to be a leftist plant.

He makes me sick...can't stand listening to him anymore. Nothing but a smug, arrogant, know-it-all who thinks he's the smartest man in America. All through the primaries, he was wrong, wrong, wrong! Was so darn smug and sure that once Cruz won Wisconsin, he would sweep across the rest of the country, that we'd have a contested convention and Cruz would come out on top.

Well, how'd that work out for ya, Hugh? I hope and pray that all of MSM and those so-called media bigshots wake up on Nov. 9th with crap all over their faces and their ratings in the tank, including this wise guy Hugh, Levin, Medved, Beck, those goons of the John and Leah show, broadcasting on Sunday nights, and so many others. Enough of these sanctimonious, loud-mouth, know-it-alls!

Hewitt has been off my radio listening for months now. Every once in a while I’ll tune in and when I do it’s still basically Trump’s doing it all wrong BUT he (Hewitt’s) still supporting him basically for SCOTUS only the proceeds to criticize and/or lament Trump some more.

Yeah he’s really turned me off in the last 3 or so months. I like his supreme court coverage too, but....I’ve had to turn him off the last 3 weeks I was just getting too worked up on my way to work with all of his defeatism.

That just proves that Hugh ain’t that smart.
Who declares a race to be over based on one bad week?

Then again he is constantly insulting Steeler fans,
despite his show being on TWO radio stations in Pittsburgh.

but he’s no longer my go-to guy.
= = =

Rush’s daily radio show is often behind the twitter-tweet speed of the news cycle.

What was so amusing about Hugh’s Cruz love fest was he ignored his run initially.

He only went with Ted when he saw every establishment guy with a dead-bounce start.

I unliked his FB page, I got so mad- he wanted Trump to step down last week. Sen. Crapo, from Idaho, took back his Trump unendorsement yesterday.

I’m probably just like you. I love his legal analysis and book reviews. I remember him interviewing a writer who was an admitted lefty. Hugh actually reads the books, makes notes, cross checks to verify, and then does excellent interviews.

The author at the beginning of the interview was very stand-offish. At the end of the interview, the author was excited and very happy that Hugh had such great questions. I ALMOST think that Hugh may have converted that guy to at least RINO status.

I think money got to Hugh eventually and also the bubble that people get in when they have that lifestyle.

My thoughts exactly...and now he’s in with the MSM on the telly so he’s cashing in ... probably knows that he’s dropping viewership at this point and likely doesn’t care. I liked him in the afternoons better as well. Darned shame overall. But hey we still have Praeger.
