Dude, that is right around the corner from me!!! I, mean right around the corner. That is Golden West & Ellis. I live off Ellis between GW & Gothard. that flag is YUGE. It is a great display. I’ve seen many, many Trump bumper stickers in town.

They had a big airshow this weekend:
I didn’t attend, as my kids had baseball games all weekend. But they have been flying overhead all weekend. I don’t know 1 plane from another, but this afternoon the Air Force was buzzing over in different formations. Pretty cool.
Yes, It started raining hard (for here) around 2:00 in the afternoon. I guess it isn’t raining in the valley, because my wife is out there with my other son at his game. I went to my older son’s game around here & we got it in with only a few sprinkles.
HB had an airshow without asking the people; too much noise, setting off car alarms here, flying overhead. If they have trouble they will be plowing in to one of our houses.
If all of the flying, stunts and turn arounds were over the ocean that would be one things, but they are doing it over the homes/population.

From the little I saw from my house, I thought it was pretty cool.
I think they probably had fewer problems with the air show, than they do with the US Open.
The Air Force Thunderbirds were performing about an hour or two ago.
That must be what I saw. It was great. God enough to get me off my butt & stand out in the rain - now that’s saying something.
This is scheduled next year and beyond as well, jets flying too low and setting off car alarms everywhere.
Air shows have a terrible track record for safety, wouldnt want to fly in a stunt plane, nor be under its flight path.
Flying was done over the ocean by all stunt planes and by the FedEx 707. The Breitling squadron, F18, and the Thunderbirds primarily over the ocean, except when regrouping and readying for their next maneuver. I was in the middle of it all yesterday.....the show was outstanding.
