Most importantly, if we can get the political left get unhinged, we get the fun
Its been mainstream ever since we were literally forced to hear the intimate details of the would be presidents husbands proclivities and details about his organ. Denying it wont work any more. There are no gentlemen in politics, least of all the politics we are writing about.
Actually, and this may come as a shock, there never were.
Might as well get used to it. If rude, lewd and crude are good enough for the New York Times, NBC, CBS, ABC and CNN, Guardian, The New Yorker, Village Voice, NY Post, the Clintons inner circle now revealed in WikiLeaks, and the White House, if it was good for the Kennedys, good for the cartoons printed in their medias pages, it should be good enough for us all. Just one mans opinion, but then I never represented myself as a gentleman or a scholar. I do say, fight fire with fire - they are playing a dirty, smutty game, and we need to get ahead of them, not always play defense.
In public discourse, yes. But for actual improper activities, the mid to late 70s were the peak. Most people are far more conservative in their behavior now.
You obviously don’t know about Tinder. Tinder has essentially killed the dating culture for the 20 somethings. I’ve read several articles that dating is dead for college women. Instead it has been replaced with the hookup culture. Men have options. Women are willing participates.

I think things are lewd and crude more than ever. Besides the hookup culture the vulgarity I hear as music or the cussing in public places is all around. The women are no longer modest (yoga pants really?) and the young men make little to no effort to hide their lustful eyes. Just my two cents.
