Why? First, he is a doofus (worse actually). Second, he’s been paid off and likely will retain his senate seat (sympathy vote). There’s just no down side for him. At this point all he needs do is stay quiet and the storm will pass.

Poor Bernie. If he only knew, but No, he made a deal and got a nice new house. Now he really looks like a dufus. And a not replayed part of Debate 2 and may favorite was when Trump looked her right in the eye and proclaimed that Bernie made a deal with the Devil.
So not too many years from now when Bernie checks out, I guess he will really feel the BURN.
