Ibuprofen and other painkillers may trigger a heart condition which affects almost a million Britons, a major study has shown. Patients who regularly take the pills are up to 20 per cent more likely to develop heart failure. Long-term use of the medication causes chemical reactions in the body which place extra strain on the heart, research suggests. This can lead to heart failure in patients who have a history of previous heart attacks or high blood pressure. An estimated 900,000 adults in Britain have heart failure which occurs when the muscle becomes too weak to pump blood around the body.
It causes extreme tiredness, breathlessness and swelling of the legs and is a long-term condition that cant be cured.

I don’t have nephrotic syndrome but I do have CKD (stage 3) so have to be careful with a number of things.
Try some Vitamin C supplementation, it strengthens capillaries. DId magnesium help or worsen the bruising? I’ve never heard of it causing bruises, just the opposite in fact.
Have you had a CBC lately? If so, how’s your platelet count?
When you thought you were done quitting...Speaking of quitting... some days ago I cleared out a deep drawer of old obsolete papers, manuals for stuff we don't even own anymore, etc. At the very bottom I found a paper with dates, two of them read:

Quit drinking May 12, 2002

Get a second opinion if that is true.
All OTC anti-inflamatories will destroy you GI track.
Tylenol is the only safe GI pain med. Yet to much will do a number on your Kidneys.
Then we have the Granny can’t have PAIN MEDS from DUMBO and his DEA. Many people have diseases that are incurable, their only resort is pain control so the can semi-function. Yet we are being denied and restricted the meds even if they only drop the pain level from a 9 to a 5. There will never be total pain relief for them just enough control to function and not be dependent on others for their care.
Shortage of pain meds

“I just had a physical and a full blood screening. Everything was normal.”
That’s a good thing.
