Off topic, but I recently went to a bank and interacted with a teller. I had two goals: 1) Deposit a check 2) Order more checks.
The teller would NOT let me deposit a check. That's what the ATM is for.
The teller would NOT order checks for me. That's what the website is for.
I'm thinking: why does the bank have tellers?
This whole world makes no sense to me anymore.
Incredible, isn't it?
Dont forget your goat leggings!
Change banks, tell them why, and write a letter to the local paper as well.
The checks will cost 1/4 as much and will show up faster.
Did you inform the teller that you would be changing banks?
Lol, my little country bank has country music playing when I walk in, beautiful western decoration inside, coffee and donuts, knows me by first name and turns themselves inside out like a sock for me on all things.
This is why, even though I live 65 miles away, I continue to use them after 40 + years.
All big banks and city banks I hang up on when they come calling. So, with respect sir, find u a small country bank nearby. My bank is not the exception for a small Texas bank in a small town, it’s the rule.
Some people don’t have debit/or bank cards for ATM access and some people don’t know how to go beyond email and computer games or even have a computer.
Complain loudly!!
