Those who watched this debate and paid attention saw the major reason this election belongs to Trump and this debate belongs to Trump
He is REAL. He speaks from the heart, he speaks from experience, and he speaks with conviction.
1. Trump On Business: Trump won that hands down. Clinton was clearly rattled.
2. Trump on Security: Trump devastating blow about Clinton's cheating Bernie Sanders. She knew it struck to the heart of her democrat voters.
3. Trump on International Affairs: Trump Blew Her Out of the Water. Don't listen to the pundits. Trump's point that any 'friend' should pay their own way was remarkable. His insight into the poverty of the Iran deal was from a man who knew a hostage payment and a buy-off when he saw one. He knew it was a lousy deal.
4. Trump on the Iraq War. He fought BOTH the Moderator and the other Candidate and he took them down. His maybe to Howard Stern was 6 months before the invasion. His conversation with Hannity was regular, and before the war, and Trump forced them to back down.
No, he’s black. I think since birth.
I was not able to watch. Thank you for your summary. That is pretty much what I expected, and I figured Trump would be pulling punches in the first debate. I read she was acting the clown with demeanor too. The only people not put off by grimaces and acting out are pretty much social bottom feeders. I’ve watched defendants kill themselves with juries doing that.
Yeah but Trump had the sniffles. He can’t power thru like our beloved Hillary! < /concern trolls >
Even the introduction was biased. Nice going Lester.
A week from now this is ALL people will remember....
Hillary 30 failed years a politician with a smooth lying tongue.
Trump a businessman with common sense, gets results, says it like it is.
All the talk about Trumps tax returns, but no talk about how Hillary makes her millions. Phony speeches, charity skimming operation, pay to play, etc.
I think this debate does not move the needle much.
Trump should prepare more for the next two debates, though.
Exactly. What I said on another thread.
What I saw was Hillary listening very very carefully to her earpiece and carefully repeating each word being said to her. She talked a script. She sounded like a robot.
I think Trump did very well. I liked it when he called her experience bad experience. She was pretty damn proud of her Iran deal. effing lying b....
Did anyone catch it when he said the MSM was the best "person" on her campaign?
What I would have said . Hope Trump will say it next or this debate?
1. Hillary promised executive amnesty for 40 million illegals in her 1st 100 days in office as President.
2.China is destroying the USA , they make everything . It's time to bring back America's production capability..
3. the debt is skyrocketing 20 trillion federal government debt(look at the debt clock), more than 100 trillion in unfunded liabilities.
4. Politicians are corrupt and Hillary is corrupt. Trump is not owned by soros and China like Hillary is.
5. A house costs 1 million dollars in California and new york . A medical operation costs $100,000. The debt is 20 tilrion $. Politicians and this government, the federal reserve , government regulations have destroyed America . this is why these prices are skyrocketing.Obama , government, government regulations, government control , the fed holding interest rates to near zero to help obama causes the increase in prices like this. country
BAM!!!!
Hillary was prepared, but was robotic and came across as a stale politician, and a snarky one at that. She never made a clear case as to why she wanted to be president. She just wants to be elected.
Trump missed a golden opportunity to walk away with a big win and basically seal the deal. He was painfully repetitive and defensive but, most importantly, he was consistent in framing his entire campaign (i.e., create jobs, build a strong economy, end the immigration invasion, defeat ISIS, and impose law and order). He also successfully tied her to Obama’s failures. Repeating those themes were his strongest points.
Overall the debate wasn’t conducted well. Holt was awful and biased to the max. Tonight spectacle isn’t going to change many minds and the polls will continue to drift in Trump’s favor in my opinion.
The ONLY reason I watched in the background was to see Hillary’s health become an obvious issue.
Sadly, it never did, and I was POSITIVE it would
Most of us are on the Trump Train because he is not the traditional kind of politician. The more dissatisfied one is with tonight’s performance, the happier they would be with another Mitt Romney.
Lester entered the debate. It wasn’t overt like Megan Kelly, but when he did it was clearly against Trump.
He was way out of line on the Iraq War question. But Trump took him down and pinned him inside of 60 seconds.
She needs a few days of rest and her drugs and she’s good for a few hours.
Is she in the spin rooms yet?
No.
That’s because she’s getting more meds.
Excellent list. You articulated pretty much the same thing I was thinking when he talked. I actually said to my wife once that he was getting in the weeds and nobody’s listening. If you can’t explain it in one sentence, or maybe two at the most, don’t bring it up. Sadly, it is all about talking points. This is not a college lecture.
The questions were all slanted toward democrat issues.
Lester did not disappoint his liberal MSM friends.
She talks about going after ISIS and he drones on about NATO in response! What the hell?! He didn't even bring up how her "taking responsibility" for her illegal server is basically saying "my bad", when it is flat out criminal!
When she's talking about how cyber hacking was such a big deal, he mentioned his ten year old son's computer skills instead of slamming her on her personal, illegal server being hacked and detroying evidence to cover it up!
He is our only option now, but my God I can't believe this performance.
Have you ever been at a wake when the old ladies look at the body of someone painted up to resemble Hermann Göring and they all cluck about how good he looks? That's Hillary. She's a talking, painted and stuffed, desiccated corpse. What emanates from her grotesque gob is pretty much unheard by anyone under 70 except as annoying static.
