He lies about small stuff. He says one thing one day and says something different the next day. He insists that things are true that are sort of demonstrably wrong.
Thats The New York Timess executive editor, Dean Baquet, on Donald J. Trump.
Mr. Baquet says he cannot recall a time the paper has called out a presidential candidate or anyone else using the word lie in a Times headline.
But thats what The Times did after Mr. Trump who spent years fueling the provably false notion that Barack Obama was born outside the United States renounced his earlier assertions and then, taking it further, falsely stated that the Clinton campaign actually started the birther rumors.

falsely? her camp DID start it
It’s well documented that the Hillary camp pushed that meme in 2008. These people keep telling their own lie until they think it is the truth.
The New York Times has made twisting the language to advance an agenda into an art form.
They are the flagship of the Ministry of Propaganda.
Hillary Clinton is an honest, trustworthy woman. We vouch for her and we would never lie to you about her.
Dean Baquet thinks we’re stupid.
Birtherism is the greatest Alinsky ever perpetrated.
They have gotten the American people to reject one of the most valuable safeguards bequeathed to us by the founders.
The natural born citizen clause served us well until we ignored it.
Barry Soetoro/Barack Hussein Obama should be proof enough of the wisdom of the founders when they tried to prevent him from being President by requiring someone who could only be a US citizen and nothing else.
Born here of citizen parents.
Naturally a US citizen because there is no other possibility.
One cannot be anything else and also be a natural born citizen.
Obama even told us on his website he was born a British subject.
Who believes Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Jay, Monroe, Madison, etc. would have found him to be a natural born citizen?
Usurpation Day, January 20, 2009, happened with the complete cooperation of both parties.
They want the Constitution changed without the hassle of amending the Constitution.
Confuse people about the clear meaning of a three word phrase and voila, every anchor baby and Winston Churchill is eligible.
The bench was the reason the GOP went along with the fig leaf resolution for McCain that was used by the Democrats as cover for Obama.
Jindal, Rubio, Haley and Cruz were all up and comers and the future of the party and ineligible.
The truth of the Kenyanesian Usurpation will never see the light of day because both parties cooperated in the violation of the Constitution
What useless sacks these degenerate malignant “journalists” are. They are an embarrassment to the First Amendment.
Slim? NAU or Bust, Baby!!
I think when Trump claimed he came under sniper fire in Bosnia, that was a real whopper. Hillary would never lie like that!
Boy from the looks of things, ROTTEN has given all her money to the campaign staff (MSM) to smear Trump...
ROFL..isn’t going to work, Trump is going to be the next POTUS and she’s going back into her coffin with stakes and Holy Water and direct sunlight on it during the day, and log chains at night...
WOOOOOO she’s going to be walking the earth looking for whatever it was she lost...
Everybody in politics lies, but [the Clintons] do it with such ease, its troubling. - David Geffen
...These people keep telling their own lie until they think it is the truth....
This is true for almost everything liberals say.
All of us have worked in some place where there are a few employees who were interested in nothing except pleasing their boss with platitudes. No productivity or ethics, just pure wastes of space. That is today’s press and media outlets.
>>who spent years fueling the provably false notion that Barack Obama was born outside the United States<<
Yet, never proven.
So the Executive Editor of the NYT said “Sort of demonstrably wrong.”?
And he’s an editor?
Friggin LOL!
Ask a surgeon or better yet an OR nurse if something can be sort of sterile.
A senior editor? Words have quantifiable meanings or they are nothing.
Holy F.
I think when Trump claimed he was named after English golfer Luke Campbell Donald, that was a real whopper. Hillary would never lie like that!
SO the Slimes think its much, much better to support a traitorous felon? OK.
It’s beyond ironical - really cynical and slimy - how the NYTimes has adopted a policy of accusing Trump of doing the things they so obviously do themselves - planting lies, smears and innuendos. They come out with an allegation as if it were fact, with no proof, and then in the next column accuse Trump of doing smears and lying.
They must think their readers are really STUPID. Well, maybe they are.
"The provably false notion" should read "the probably false notion."
Heh!
:D
