69 eye-opening facts about Hillary's VP pick (VERY enlightening article about Tim Kaine)

His views and votes on abortion, immigration, Israel, guns, his defense of "THE RIGHT TO HUNT AND FISH BUT..." Immigration, stoic support of Muslim and Islamic associations, Taxes, Affirmative Action, LBGBTQRSTV or whatever... Just about everything. (...)Marxist mentors

On Sept. 2, the New York Times published a lengthy piece titled, “In Honduras, a spiritual and political awakening for Tim Kaine,” intended to show how his purported politics of compassion was grounded in faith when the then-22-year-old traveled to Honduras to volunteer with Jesuit missionaries, as civil wars raged through Central America.

What it showed instead was the roots of Kaine’s radicalism and a politics grounded in communist ideology. And what it neglected to mention was his mentors were mainstream Marxists virulently opposed to the United States.

The Times reported, “Mr. Kaine embraced an interpretation of the gospel, known as liberation theology, that championed social change to improve the lives of the downtrodden.”

However, as an ambassador to the U.N. Commission on Human Rights, former Secretary of State of Ohio and Cincinnati Mayor Ken Blackwell of the Family Research Council pointed out in an article in the Hill on Sept. 9:

“This (liberation theology) wasn’t mainstream ‘Catholic thought’ at the time. It was a radical, Marxist-based ideology at odds with the Church, the pope, and the United States, but supportive of (and supported by) the Soviet Union.”

I have been writing about Tim Kaine’s Marxist Liberation Theology connections since he was rolled out as Hillary’s VP pick. It is about time this fact gets out there loud and clear. The battle we have is Communism vs Capitalism.

Always disgusts me to see guys like Kaine preach one thing, but then live in luxury (Not Michelle Obama's gauche idea of luxury, but still very comfortable).

I think he was picked for her (as I infer you implied).

I think their actual hope is that she will be elected and then die in office, elevating a younger, healthier communist to complete the already near-complete destruction of Western Civilization and Biblical Christianity in the legal, public sphere of the American nation.

That is a hallmark of the communistic fellow travelers: stealing all the capitalist wealth for themselves.

Look at Mark Zuckerberg.

Illary minion Terry McAuliffe

Let’s take a look at some of his business associates over the years.

Anthony Rodham: When McAuliffe in 2009 created GreenTech, a now-troubled electric-car company, he turned to an old pal for assistance in courting foreign investors: Tony Rodham, who is best known as one of Hillary Clinton’s embarrassing brothers. A former repo man, prison guard, and private eye, Rodham by then had a long history of trying to cash in on his famous sister’s connections and generally causing problems for her. In 1999, he and brother Hugh nearly caused a diplomatic crisis with a plan to sell hazelnuts from the Republic of Georgia; their partner was a local political boss who also happened to be a political rival of the country’s president and US ally, Eduard Shevardnadze. Over the years, Rodham has been in the news for the occasional fistfight and for child-support arrears. He was implicated in the Clinton pardon scandal.

Richard Swann: Swann is McAuliffe’s father-in-law, and his story starts back in 1980, when Swann helped found American Pioneer Savings and Loan in Florida. Ten years later, federal regulators seized the thrift, which was drowning in bad loans and foreclosed real estate. The bailout cost taxpayers more than $500 million. Swann settled charges with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which found that Swann and a partner had broken the law in selling $10 million worth of junk bonds from the thrift to shore up its reserves. Investors—mainly mom and pop depositors at the thrift—lost their shirts, and Swann eventually filed bankruptcy.

Tony Coehlo: Coehlo is a former California congressman who resigned in 1989 after the disclosure that he had taken a sweetheart loan from the operator of a troubled savings and loan operator and used the money to buy junk bonds from the notorious Drexel Burnham Lambert, which that year paid a record $650 million to settle criminal charges with the SEC for stock manipulation. Coehlo and McAuliffe worked together on various political campaigns, but they also were involved with a real estate firm in Washington, DC. Former business associates accused the pair of using their political connections to win improper commissions on deals involving federal agencies. The matter eventually was settled confidentially.

Gary Winnick: Winnick was the founder of Global Crossing, a fiber optic company that earned McAuliffe $8 million on an initial investment of $100,000—a deal he accessed because he was working as a consultant to Winnick before the company went public. Winnick had been an acolyte of junk bond king Michael Milken before starting Global Crossing. His management of Global Crossing has been compared with Ken Lay’s leadership of Enron. He and other top executives hid the company’s losses and cashed out more than a billion in stock before the company collapsed in 2002 and caused $54 billion in shareholder losses. Lots of people thought Winnick should have gone to jail, but he avoided any serious federal action. McAuliffe cashed out his shares in Global Crossing before it crashed and was not accused of any wrongdoing, but his profiteering in this case has been a political liability for him.

Joseph Caramadre: Caramadre is a Rhode Island estate planner who pleaded guilty to scamming terminally ill people by stealing their identities and buying annuities in their names. When they died, Caramadre and his investors could cash in. McAuliffe invested $33,000 in this scheme in 2006 and netted $47,000 in return. Caramadre also was a big donor and fundraiser for McAuliffe’s first run for governor in 2009, giving $27,000 to McAuliffe’s campaign. (Caramadre apparently wanted to become an ambassador to the Vatican.) During this most recent governor’s campaign, Bob Lewis, a veteran AP reporter, was fired for reporting inaccurately on this episode, and the matter evaporated as a campaign issue. But that doesn’t change a basic fact: McAuliffe was doing business with this guy.

In 1996, the New York Daily News fired reporter David Eisenstadt after he wrote an unfavorable story about McAuliffe potentially having connections to notorious fundraiser John Huang, who in 1999 pleaded guilty to felony charges for arranging more than $150,000 in illegal campaign contributions to the Democratic Party. McAuliffe later gloated to the Washington Post about having called paper owner Mort Zuckerman to get Eisenstadt canned.

6. I Can’t Believe Terry McAuliffe Is Going to Be Governor of Virginia

McAuliffe had a high-profile role in Hillary’s 2008 presidential campaign, and has stayed involved this time around despite his day job as Governor.

As part of the probe, the officials said, investigators have scrutinized McAuliffe’s time as a board member of the Clinton Global Initiative, a vehicle of the charitable foundation set up by former President Bill Clinton.

As left-wing magazine Mother Jones wrote in 2013:

McAuliffe represents an unseemly slice of Washington. His primary role in politics for the past two decades or more has been raising money—most notably, for the Clintons. He cooked up the idea of essentially renting out the Lincoln bedroom during the Clinton administration as a fundraising vehicle,

As the Washington Post reported last summer:

More than 175 contributors to the Clinton Foundation and to Hillary Rodham Clinton’s 2016 Democratic presidential campaign have dug deep into their wallets for McAuliffe, often giving prolifically despite little or no connection to Virginia.....

Among them is an Omaha database executive who lavished so much corporate jet travel on himself and the Clinton family that shareholders forced him out. A Hollywood media mogul with a singular interest in Israel. And an Argentine-born energy tycoon who recalled visiting Richmond just once — flying in and out years ago with Bill Clinton, his Georgetown classmate.

Of the $60 million McAuliffe has raised for his two gubernatorial bids, inauguration, political action committee and the Democratic Party of Virginia, nearly $18 million has come from contributors to the Clinton Foundation or to Hillary Clinton’s current campaign.

7. Federal investigations cast shadow over McAuliffe on Election Day

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — As Virginians head to the polls Tuesday, a darkening cloud of federal investigations hangs over Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe.

The inspector general at the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission are conducting separate inquiries into actions involving McAuliffe’s GreenTech Automotive company and its use of a federal investor-visa program.

Grassley, the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, has requested detailed data about results from the USCIS service center that handles GreenTech-Gulf Coast applications.

Gulf Coast is headed by Anthony Rodham, Hillary Clinton’s younger brother. Records show Rodham also solicited assistance from top federal officials, including Vice President Joe Biden.

Both DHS’ inspector general and the SEC have remained mum, standard policy during ongoing investigations.

Garrett, the former commonwealth attorney, says a thorough investigation by the Obama administration’s Justice Department is warranted in the McAuliffe-GreenTech matter.

RICHMOND — Hillary Clinton’s choice of Sen. Timothy M. Kaine for vice president has scrambled Virginia politics, leaving Gov. Terry McAuliffe with a tough decision: whom to appoint to the Senate if Democrats win the White House.

Kaine adds to Virginia governor’s potential White House ties

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Soon after Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine accepted Hillary Clinton’s offer to be her running mate, he called Terry McAuliffe to say thanks.

Kaine had reason to be grateful: it’s likely no one lobbied as hard for Kaine as the colorful Virginia governor, a Clinton pal and former Democratic fundraiser.

And with one friend atop the ticket and another as her running mate, McAuliffe could find himself with two direct lines to the White House should the Clinton-Kaine ticket win on Election Day.

McAuliffe led the effort to raise money for Bill Clinton’s re-election bid, vacationed with the couple after the Monica Lewinsky scandal and secured a $1.35 million mortgage on their house in Chappaqua, New York, after they left the White House swamped by legal debts.

He traveled the world with Bill Clinton as a board member for the Clinton Global Initiative, his post-presidential foundation, and helped manage Hillary Clinton’s 2008 run for president.

Kaine accepted clothes, vacation as gifts
The former Virginia governor’s $160,000 in disclosures could be a political liability for Clinton’s leading VP pick.

Read more: http://www.politico.com/story/2016/06/tim-kaine-virginia-veep-mcdonnell-clinton-224888#ixzz4Kn8fRKWh

Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine took advantage of the state’s lax gift laws to receive an $18,000 Caribbean vacation, $5,500 in clothes and a trip to watch George Mason University play in the NCAA basketball Final Four during his years as lieutenant governor and governor, according to disclosures he filed.

Now a leading contender to be Hillary Clinton’s running mate, Kaine reported more than $160,000 in gifts from 2001 to 2009, mostly for travel to and from political events and conferences, according to disclosures compiled by the Virginia Public Access Project. The givers included political supporters, a drug company that soon after bought a facility in Virginia, and Dominion, the state’s biggest provider of electricity.

While legal under Virginia’s unusually permissive ethics rules, the gifts could become attack-ad fodder after similar presents led to corruption charges for Gov. Bob McDonnell, whose conviction the Supreme Court overturned Monday. Republicans could also use the records to portray Kaine as part of the self-dealing establishment in a cycle animated by hostility toward the political class.

Shortly after winning the governorship in 2005, Kaine and his family vacationed on the exclusive West Indies island of Mustique in a house belonging to Charlottesville-area investor James B. Murray Jr. Murray made a fortune investing in cellphones together with Kaine’s Senate predecessor, Mark Warner. Murray invited Kaine to spend a week at his house to relax after the campaign.

Most of the gifts came in the form of travel to conferences or campaign events. President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign gave Kaine $45,000 for airfare and lodging. Kaine’s own leadership committee, Moving Virginia Forward, footed $20,000 of travel expenses. The Democratic Party of Virginia paid almost $11,000.

Teva Pharmaceuticals gave him $12,000 for travel to the August 2006 Democratic Governors Association meeting in Aspen. The Israeli drug company lobbied the state government and later bought a facility in Forest, Virginia. BET co-founder Sheila C. Johnson treated him to $4,250 for two dinners, travel to a charity benefit and a trip to Denver. ADR Software CEO E. Scott Kasprowicz, a conservationist and an environmental advocate, paid $3,000 for travel to political and charity galas.
