If you grew up during the era of big wheels, horrid hair styles, and the Reagan administration, you probably grew up thinking that green plant you see above you was a really dangerous item. This is especially true if you grew up a Christian during that era.
I mean, it was the lowest level drug on the list of drugs, but it was the gateway drug. This gateway drug was to be especially feared, because it represented the slippery slope to every other drug or form of immorality. Even trying it once could result in you no longer wanting to wear your denim skirt. Try it twice and you might swap out Sandi Patty for Motley Crue. Three times? Well, by the third time you wouldnt even want it anymore, because youll be in a dark ally buying an even harder drug with the money you got from pawning your wedding ring.
It was all a bunch of nonsense.
All these years later, it is still a bunch of nonsense.

>>Refer Madness was not a documentary.
Neither was the same director’s film “Maniac”. They were exploitation films designed to show lurid sinning, nudity, and violence that big studio Hollywood fair couldn’t get away with. He later bought Freaks from MGM (and decades later they stole it back and reasserted copyright).
It doesn’t cure what ills gangsta thugs who drive by and shoot up Chicago so much every week.
Not everyone who smokes pot is a peaceful dreamer.
The high school rampage killers have typically been pot smokers too.
They had grow rooms and grow lights designed to increase potency back in 1600?
No indoor setup is as good as growing outdoors. I gare own tee!
160,000 matches for drinking snake venom on google.
Some are people asking if it is dangerous, some are accounts of what parts of the world people already do it.
The huge majority MAY not include you. How would I know? I left room for legit users. There aren’t many of them. And I think just fine.
Yes I think recreationally making yourself comatose, or irrational, or hallucinatory, is actually criminal. So there. You don’t live on an island.
If you are nodding or nuts or stupid or psycho through no fault of your own, we your family and friends and church and even state will fill in for you and try to help you out. It is wrong for you to get that way on purpose.
Add to that many are depending properly upon you in little ways ( your neighbor trusts you won’t leave the stove on) to big ways ( your kid needs you sane).
It is comfy for you to pretend that your actions don’t affect others but they do.
We must use reason in our decision making, granted.
My Analogy does hold. If smoking pot is the most helpful thing to help with glaucoma, fine. If you use it to nod out because you’d like to get high and increase your odds of variou brain disorders, not fine. Same with venom and anti venom
God didn’t create marijuana with near the potency and strength he did now. And he didn’t create it to be smoked by people. It has toxic properties, just like tobacco, to discourage insects and animals from ingesting it and thus allowing it to propagate. But we (people in general) are apparently stupider then insects and animals because we repeatedly poison ourselves.
I’ve never even seen a marijuana plant, let alone smoked it.
Nevertheless, who am I to tell someone else what he/she may do with a plant?
This video made me re-think much of my previously held thoughts about individual liberty. It makes much sense for about the first 3/4 of it. (the last part is too wacky for me). An excellent video filled with much food for thought:

Criminalizing a plant seems ridiculous to me, an example of a tyrannical gov’t gone mad. It’s a plant, for goodness sake. I could care less whether someone grows it, eats it, harvests it, or whatever they want to do with it.
This War on Drugs has ruined so many lives and destroyed families, all the while growing the gov’t into a force to be feared, as opposed to existing to serve its citizens.
Abolish all drug laws, replace drug offenders with those who commit crime against We the People: the Globalists.
>>Abolish all drug laws, replace drug offenders with those who commit crime against We the People: the Globalists.

Meant to say, “Replace drug offenders IN JAIL with those who commit crime against We the People: the Globalists.
Who are you ? You are someone who lives on a planet with others.
Why tell anyone what to do with a poppy? We make heroin out of them
Why tell anyone what to do with a mushroom? The halluconegic ones can make you so crazy you never get sane again
So like yeah we control each other with laws all the time
The question is good laws or bad laws? Not, should we just never tell anyone else what they can or can’t do.
I don’t trust you or gov’t with that kind of power.
That’s why we have the Constitution to keep the “power-hungry” in check. A lot of good it’s done, though, with so many people completely ignorant of the underlying intent of the Constitution to severely limit the Federal gov’t by giving them few and defined powers.
The states, on the other hand, have almost unlimited powers, and this is as it should be, since they are closer to the people and are forced to compete with other states.
Now that the Federal gov’t has usurped substantial power from the states and the People, with the blessings of the the sanctimonious, we find ourselves being controlled by a despotism.
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
--Amendment X
1) I don’t think the potency has really changed as much as is reported, after talking with people that were smoking it before I was born and still are now, there were natural strains from far east ect. that have been hybrid and bumped it up a little maybe I will give you, but mostly just more of the better stuff around now. I but stand by what I said earlier, you can only get so high off THC after that you either take a nap or are just wasting product.
From what I have read, cancer patients using Rick Simpson oil don’t even get a high feeling, their dose is so large, they take it and just sleep a lot.
2) Toxic properties... Ask outdoor growers how much it deters animals, the smell attracts many creatures that will eat it in a heartbeat.
3) I cant find any evidence that it poisons people... Its the common argument, but deaths from overdoses are 0 a year, as far back as history shows. I know people who have been smoking it daily since the early 60s and they are some of the healthiest people I know. I am not advocating for the use of it, just that I believe it should be legal, for anybody that wants to use an unadulterated plant that grows in nature, however they want to use it... medically or recreationally, my points are not anything more that simple observed facts from my past 33 years of being of voting age.
Another interesting note would be that most of the heavy drinkers I know that raised kids... the kids now smoke pot and wont touch alcohol, and vise versa, the pot smokers kids are mostly all drinkers... take that for what it’s worth... not much, but seems interesting that kids blame the parents vise for their problems and then switch to the other for themselves instead of avoiding both.
4) there is mounting evidence it cures some cancers... Besides all its other good qualities it can be used for instead of taking a man made pill. Big Pharma has a HUGE stake in our government telling us there is no medicinal use... for far more than just cancer, But on the other hand the government itself holds U.S. Patent #6,630,507 which reserves their claim to the medicinal rights, after telling us for almost 80 years there is no medicinal use. It is just the standard double speak we all are against for any other subject besides the Evil Weed!
Lastly I want to say I knew I was bringing up a touchy subject, but am a little surprised at all the conservatives typically against our dis-honest government that are blindly supporting our government’s position as they support Big Pharma behind the scenes with this issue... instead of being willing to have a real conversation about this. I keep watching but still don’t hear negatives of Colorado legalizing... in fact hearing positives regularly, how does that compute?
Thank you for your wonderfully informative and much-needed informational post!
I recently tried smoking a little of that stuff i just had part of my foot amputated and was hurtin so bad i would have tried anything and was out of pain pills.
The first one may have helped a little, after that it never helped and it leaves me with a feeling of hopelessness, stinks worse than pig manure.
I am not a drinker but give me a bottle of wiskey anytime as it really does make me feel better.
So just an assumption on my part, but being consistent you would make alcohol illegal too then instead of legalizing a natural plant... Cool Noted... one or the other, I don't care which, I am sick of dodging alcoholics on the road that poison themselves daily too, I got a friend, that I know better than to answer the phone when he calls much beyond an hour after he gets off work...
The Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit, are three Persons in one substance, the Triune God.
All acts of God “ad extra” are acts of the three Persons.
Thus, only the Son was/is incarnate, but the act by which He became incarnate was/is and act of all three Persons.
The same is true of creation. Note that St. Paul and the Creed say that “through Him all things were made,” not “by Him.”
