Never said you weren’t allowed to talk about it. You wrongly assumed that your taxes went mostly to subsdieis when in fact it goes to welfare.

You are at fault for this one we just corrected your wrong assumption.

All I can say is, when the SHTF, you’d better know somebody who knows how to farm.

“Trump adds that he aims to protect the renewable fuel standard”...the ethanol mandate/subsidy needs to go away Mr. Trump. And the rest of the USDA’s $19 billion in “Farm and Commodity Programs” need to be looked at closely...the $600 billion yearly deficit and the $20 trillion debt isn’t going to fix itself.

wow!! the general public is so in the dark about so much.

i’ve followed commodities throughout the years. I think in the middle of the 2000s to 2010, prices were very high.

Then they fell again.

One of older women who owns a neighboring farm was offer for coffee and we were discussing “prepping” and she had concerns. Basically we are preppers by nature - if SHTF we know how to grow food, raise animals, barter, hunt, have generators and wood stoves (even in town every house I know has at least one in the garage or basement). Some like me also have skills like field medicine and reloading ammo (yes I am stocked on supplies).

Then you had a piss poor attorney working for you. Special use valuation is something that can be done after the fact.

The only ones paying are those doing very poor estate planning.

But I suspect the REAL problems was siblings involved that wanted money.

And when was this problem of paying 40%? It was a problem several years ago but changes have been made. Get current.
