Donald Trump is telling Iowans that one of his campaign goals is to "make America grow again."

Those insurance programs are worthless. It doesn’t cost much but it pays very little, you’d be lucky to recoup your seed costs. We still do private enterprise hail insurance for our high risk crop even though they only let you go up to $1500 per acre.
I’m thinking your money is going to food stamps.
I’m thinking that you are trying to change the subject.
Omg. U just made me LOL in a semi packed club that is hosting a bday party. Nice.
Okay, I just looked and I as right it’s food stamps.
The USDA budget of 148B is 73% Nutrition Assistance, 13% Farm and Commodity Programs, 8% Conservation and Forestry and 6% All Other.
Your money is going to WELFARE which is still part of the ‘Farm biil’ (almost all of it). Once upon a time, the government paid farmers to keep production up and used the actual items (milk, cheese, eggs, etc) to give to those on welfare. It got rid of the excess and prevented an overrun. Now, they get EBT cards but the farmers still get the blame.
Bingo and thank you.
Again, BS. I’m not allowed to talk about farm subsidies because the Farm Bill contains subsidies for others? Gimme a friggin’ break.
Tell you what if you send me your name and address I’ll ask the next Somali refugee in line in front of me with a heaping basket of groceries sliding their EBT cards to pay for it and I’ll ask them to send you one.
I’m telling you to do the math. You can complain all you want if you can back it up with the facts.
Cool. Can I ask them about farm subsidies? I’ll wager that I’ll get the same response as from you.
//rant off//
But hey, let's talk about food stamps instead!
“Farming the mailbox.”
I cannot talk about foodstamps now (aka SNAP), my head will explode. Since I am retail, I witness it first hand day in and day out.
90% BS. I am SO happy to help those who need it, but the majority I see do not seem to need it when they hand me their coupons or EBT card with their full nail set and their Escalade or navigator running.
Not really.
A rising tide lifts all ships
Everyone will benefit from lower taxes
So, in order to keep your head from exploding, let’s talk about farm subsidies.
You were the one that brought up where your money went. We explained it. Its not farm subsidies.
