Remember the special frock that Lady M donned to return to the prison of the White House last Sunday?
Its been driving me crazy. I knew it reminded me of something other than my Aunt Irene circa 1952 butt couldnt quite put my finger on it. And then, while in sleep mode, it popped up on my server! Its from the August 21, 2010 post, Big Guy, All Books, No Grapes. Sure enough, there she was, Lady M play-acting the role of Imogene in Paper Moon.
Imogene and Addie Paper Moon
In case you dont recall the movie its a 1973 classic about a couple of con artists traveling around the country during the Great Depression taking peoples money. Lady Ms character, Imogene, had a small role as Trixies (Madelaine Kahn) maid and Addies (Tatum ONeil) friend.
Imogene was originally played by 15 year old P.J. Johnson; I think youll agree, MO brought great maturity to the role:
While the frock is made of a different material it definitely has the same fit, stance and attitude.
Im glad I remembered, now I can relax and enjoy my vacation.

Looks more like Aunt Jemima without her doo-rag.
The Mooch seems to have been packing on the pounds lately
She/he hasn’t played since college
That’s six kinds of tacky!!!
I look at that picture and just wonder how anyone could have any respect for that woman or the position she holds.......
She needs to get back on her school lunch meal plan.
I wonder how many thousands of dollars we paid for her dress and shoes there.
It looks like an alien’s head on her “plantation” dress, right above her crotch.
The Prison where slavery still lives everyday!!
OH NOES!!!!
McFatty....
Yeah feels good.
That is a scary thought, but you are correct.
They intentionally dress her terribly to provoke negative comments, which are by their definition racist.
No other First Laddy’s crotch has had so much discussion.
C’mon, that top picture is not Michelle. It’s Patrick Ewing in drag.
