Dead is only one way to hurt people. And the hurt wouldn’t necessarily come now. And there are a lot of other people who could be seen as threats whether they are or not.

Agreed. A deal is a deal, and there may be people associated with that source still living, relatives, and so on.

Did ya miss the part about Wikileaks decimating the entire Democratic Convention and causing it's DNC Chairwoman to resign in public disgrace on the eve of their big conversion?

He did not confirm nor deny. He had an opportunity to deny. Why would WikiLeaks offer a reward. It would have been very easy to not even comment on the Seth Rich murder. But he did.

Not to be a Debbie Downer but this is starting to smell like a GOP Congressional hearing. All sound and fury from Wikleaks after the first dump. No substance.

If Rich was indeed murdered for leaking emails, I’m confident we’re not dealing with common street gangs or mafia style hits on multiple targets. If Rich’s folks or family got murdered, targeted for harassment or whatever, it would be block buster front page stuff. I’m very confident the perpetrators would know this too.

Sheriff Joe, Trump and Assange know that there currently is No Entity in the US that will convict at this time. Perhaps they are holding back for a change of guard.
Unless, a foreign government is willing to convict right now. Egypt?
