Well, as one who has had a kidney/liver transplant, this is most interesting information. Caught acute Hep C during dialysis, and it wrecked the liver. I got lucky and my Los Angeles docs sent me to Jacksonville, FL, got the transplant within 6 weeks of getting on the list there. Would not have survived the wait in CA. A 3D printer would have been quite handy, but not so sure about mouse cells!

Forgot to add, the new Hep C treatments WORK! Completely gone within 3 months of treatment post-transplant.
