I think it is time to disregard Cruz.
Trump is running for president, and representing our party. That is a done deal.
In my opinion, it serves no constructive purpose for us to dwell on Cruz anymore.
Maybe we can talk about him next election. But now we have far more important matters to pay attention to.
(just my 2 cents)
Good, the jerk earned it all by himself.
And Lyin’ Ted is now Dead Ted. How long befor he switches parties?
Adios, pendejo.
I am sooooooo disappointed in Cruz.
He could have said, “I pledged to endorse the candidate, DT, so I am doing that today. Vote your conscience.” That would have been a class act.
But no, he had to be a jerk.
Hoisted, by his own petard!
It appears that Cruz has become part of the political vocabulary, like getting Borked. I heard someone at the DNC say that Bernie wasn’t going to pull a Cruz on Hillary. Like it or not, getting Cruzed isn’t a positive image.
Cruz did more to unite the right than the GOPe and everyone else has been trying to do in years. Talk about shooting himself and his career in the foot.
Cruz revealed himself to be unconcerned about the election of Hillary. Now we know Cruz was asking Hillary for money during the Republican convention.
No surprise here. What Cruz perceived as principled, people saw as pettiness.
Am sure that I will catch a lot of flak over this comment. Yes, he is a jerk but as a Senator for Texas he has a significantly more conservative record that Cornyn or Kay Bailey Hutchinson whom he replaced. Suggest we wait and see what he does as a Senator the rest of his term rather than sending him to the gallows. Likely prospects for his replacement could be Dewhurst, Perry or even George P. Bush - none of whom our family would ever vote for.
I was a Cruz supporter until recently. He has not acted honorably and is just another establishment politician.
Needs a primary challenger pronto.
Is there a poll out on Kasich yet? I thought the media loved the pizza man?
A radio caller to Levin slipped and said “Hillary Cruz”
