much to do about nothing
I didn’t mind so much Levin stumping for Cruz early on, but then he went off the deep end. He started insulting Trump supporters. Not a wise move in any business to alienate a large percentage of your customers.
Dude, I’ve loved ya over the years, but if you don’t see that the fight is not Conservative/Liberal, but Globalist/Populist — and if you don’t see that Levin is on the Globalist side — then I fear you’ve lost your edge.
Example: If he is anti-Globalist, explain why he spits out the terms Populist or Nationalist with contempt.
Levin isn’t just a bore, he’s absolutely poisonous.
I just googled and came up with an article that maintains what you’re saying, but I maintain that the difference is semantic. The difference between leftists and globalists on one hand and conservatives and nationalists on the other hand is mostly semantical and not well thought through by many.
Consider the author’s attribution of policies and then switch from globalists to leftist and from nationalist to conservative and see if they don’t fit just as well:
Establishment candidates believe in the globalist platform:
Open-borders
Consumerism
Feminism and matriarchy
Multiculturalism, diversity, and egalitarianism
Paganism or atheism
Global solutions for local problems
Empire building
Centralization
Collectivization
Unarmed populace
All the while, we are not allowed to select a candidate with a nationalist platform:
Closed borders
Protectionism
Patriarchy
Homogeneous population
Monotheism
Local solutions for local problems
War as self-defense
Decentralization
Individual rights
Armed populace
The point is that the Constitution saves populism from being mobocracy. Levin regards himself to be a constitutional conservative.
As far as nationalism is concerned, I do not believe that you can honestly attribute any one of the globalist attributes listed above to Mark Levin and virtually all of the attributes for nationalist except protectionism and homogeneous demographics fit him rather well.
“We should mount an effort to put him out of business!”
Don’t have to. Levin is doing it all by himself.
“Levin is well informed on some things. Constitution, some legal issues. He doesnt know squat about trade or the economy. Sick of hearing a JD lecture a successful B-School grad about economic issues. I am taking about me, but Trump is also a successful Business School Grad.”

The New Battle Lines: Elitists Vs. Us
You can see the work of the Elitists not only in America but in Europe.
“Example: If he is anti-Globalist, explain why he spits out the terms Populist or Nationalist with contempt.”
Because Levin is a self-important fool who really isn’t all that well read in American history. The Revolution itself was a populist uprising that grew organically in the years following the French and Indian War, it wasn’t just some top-down affair ginned up a few Founders whose names we all know.
Ray Raphael, whose politics certainly aren’t mine, still wrote a decent book describing the broad based populism that challenged the authority of the Crown and its high-handed policies. The Battle of Alamance Creek in 1762 led by the populist Regulators of North Carolina is arguably the opening salvo of the war for independence. There would have been no Revolution or Continental Army without the populism and incipient nationalism driving that generation.
When one sells out their soul for the almighty dollar they fall hard in the eyes of those who want to save America.
Cruz was on the plane to go to the Dallas memorial for the murdered police officers. Who initiated the car pool idea? It was also reported that Obama called the families of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile while aboard that flight. Keep in mind, although murdered by a “black muslim sympathizer”, the murdered police officers were protecting BLM terrorists who were protesting the deaths of Sterling and Castile.
Cruz was on that plane to collect his 40 pieces of silver.
I disagree. That is what the Dems do. We just ignore them and let them rant on with none of us hearing.
It is important to understand that he popularizes this as he educates, he educates as he popularizes. He does not merely recite incidents but explores the far more important intellectual and philosophical path that could lead Thomas Jefferson to write that all men are created equal. It's not for nothing that he has written a very well-received book on this very subject and it's not for nothing that he prominently displays portraits of John Locke and Montesquieu as part of his television set.
In this, as in virtually every other matter, Levin is on the right side, he is on the conservative side.
Levin is a globalist Free Trade hack.
“Your insinuation that Levin is misinformed about his revolutionary history is misplaced. “
Try selling that to someone who hasn’t listened to Levin as much as I have. I know perfectly well what Levin focuses on and it’s the prominent Founders and the various writers and philosophers who influenced them.
What makes Levin a fool is his denunciation of populism, which played a huge role in the Revolution. The thousands of Colonials who gathered at Liberty Trees around the Colonies in the 1760s were populists. The merchants and farmers who boycotted British trade were populists. Tea Party rebels, Boston Massacre protestors, Minute Men were populists. The Militia and the Continental Line were populists. The last thing in the world that they were were obedient subjects deferring to their betters. There would have been no Revolution without them. Only an ignoramus dismisses the role of what the Colonials called “The Body of the People” in the Revolution.
