America is now a banana republic: FBI recommends no charges against Hillary

There is evidence the statutes were violated, Comey says, but no one ever gets charged for that so Hillary shouldn't either

She’s going to get away with it. Not because anyone thinks she didn’t do it. The FBI director knows damn well she did it. He even said in the presser that her statements about a) never sending or receiving classified e-mails; and b) turning over all her work-related e-mails were clearly not true.

He absolutely lambasted her lack of care for the security of classified e-mails, even up to and including the use of non-secure devices when overseas, when it would be especially easy for hostile actors to gain access to her devices - which Comey acknowleges may well have happened.

Gross Negligence is also actionable under “Care Less Ness” because it presumes a lack of directed agency to safeguard against a peril...

America is now a banana republic

This was true long before the non-indictment of Hillary.

It is amazing how full circle this is... Hillary was part of the Watergate investigation, and of course, she too ends up with missing documentation that should be there, deleted, the 21st century version of shredding.

I wonder how big a donation one has to make to the Clinton Family Foundation to enjoy a night in the Lincoln bedroom?

Is now? What’s this “is now” crap? Come on people, you’re all acting like this is the first time you’ve seen an elite get off scott free. The roots of the word “privilege” are private law. That’s how it worked long before there was an America, that’s how it will always work.

Now that Hillary has been let off the hook Sanders will fade into obscurity.

Calling the U.S. a “Banana Republic” is giving the country far too much credit.

HRC, not quite criminal enough to indict.

Great campaign slogan.

1, We grow no bananas domestically, and
2. This is no longer a republic.

But everything else about “banana republic” applies...

The fix was in when they decided to “investigate” her hardware while ignoring the content of her communications and finances.

The Clintons are billionaires. Trump made his billions building buildings. The Clintons sold their office. That’s true whether they used email or telegraph. They are the most openly corrupt people in politics. They survive because they have lots of accomplices and they have the goods on everyone else. I suspect that these days you don’t get into responsible positions if you aren’t both blackmailable and bought.

I’m sure there isn’t anyone in Obama’s administration who isn’t reliably under control. And there won’t be anyone in a second Clinton administration who isn’t reliably under control. I doubt there is anyone at the top of either party, DNC or GOP, who isn’t reliably controlled. The scandals that will remove them from office are already in someone’s file drawer, and they know it.

Hillary has 900 FBI files.
She probably has Comey’s.

She has just been given permanent immunity.

Before 9/11, I used to put out my American flag on many days, Flag Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, etc. Since 9/11 my flag has been up every day, all day, since 9/11, except for extreme weather, and appropriately lit at night.

Not anymore. I, too, have taken mine down. We live in a banana republic, and we are now a nation of laws for some and not for others. I may have thought it before, but now it is wide open for all to see. There is no America anymore.

You and I know that this administration is corrupt. As corrupt as any South American or African dictatorship. We, as Americans, deserve better.

We became a Banana Republic on January 20, 2009. This only confirms how much further we have crawled down that rabbit hole.

I work for an employer with corporate hardware that warehouses far less sensitive data than what Hillary Clinton had on her private servers in a random broom closet / utility room.

Those corporate servers are guarded by people with guns. One must also pass through multiple rooms with employee badge verification, retina scans, fingerprints, and more armed guards...to get anywhere near the servers. No portable storage devices are allowed anywhere near those secure servers, of course.

She is getting away with yet another major crime with that folksy,
"...Wipe the servers, you mean, like with a cloth?..." as if it is some big joke.
CIA agents likely died in foreign countries due to her criminality. This is insane.
