The Night of the Long Knives (sometimes called Operation Hummingbird or, in Germany, the Röhm-Putsch), was a purge that took place in Nazi Germany from June 30 to July 2, 1934, when the Nazi regime carried out a series of political murders.

I have a phone and a pen...
This has to do with Bubba-Lynch meeting.
One of my best friends is the grand nephew of Ernst Rohm.
We WILL see this day. I don’t believe they would do it in a foul swoop - but in the matter of say.. 4 months ?
Take out the conservative powerhouses over the course of a few weeks. When Andrew Breitbart “Died suddenly” I have to be honest - I got my gear together and headed to my location.
later
Followed by Kristallnacht - The Night of Broken Glass 1938
I watched the movie on TV, “Purge”. This was supposed to be a new scheme implemented to reduce rampant crime, homelessness, and unemployment, by, for a period of 12 hours, completely suspending any criminal proceedings against anyone who wished to kill, maim, or burglarize anyone they wished, with no consequences for the perpetrators, and a vast clean-up after the carnage.
The concept was pretty dreadful. But wait, it gets worse. A second film in the series, Purge: Anarchy, puts the carnage on a city-wide scale, with squads and counter-squads openly fighting in the streets.
This was only the run-up for a third film being released this Friday, Purge: Election Year, in which this reaches all the way to top levels of the government, in which elections get determined by whichever side manages to knock off its rivals. The slogan? “Keep America Great”.
No bias there.
If anyone reproaches me and asks why I did not resort to the regular courts of justice, then all I can say is this: In this hour I was responsible for the fate of the German people, and thereby I became the supreme judge of the German people.
“If Congress refuses to act to solve [add here], then I will go ahead on behalf of the American people and act by executive order. Americans do not want me to stand idly by in this crisis.”
—Barack Obama (paraphrase)
The horrible thing was how the non-nazi politicians all caved so quickly in giving Hitler unchecked power especially with the enabling acts in 1933. How can a dictator get power so easily? The only ones that went down on principle were the leftist social democrats!
Of course the narrative now is that Hitler killed Rohm because of his homophobia.
A lot of intimidation and murder helped him along. Plus propaganda in all its nasty forms.
“Ernst Röhm, Hitlers long-time friend and devotee. Röhm and his Storm Troopers brought Germany into submission by gaining control of the streets gangster-style and violently eliminating any of Hitlers political enemies.”
Now do your homework and read about the Occupy democrats, Black Lies Matter and other proven violent groups who are threatening violence at the Republican National Convention in two (three?) weeks in Cleveland.
Who’s the nazi?
Thousands of good men ended up dying in that war. My dad
was a combat veteran of WWII. A good shot from an
upbringing where he had to hunt if he wanted to eat &
where the leaders had enough sense not to mess with the
RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS. - He felt sorry for the ordinary German
soldier; but he detested those dam*ed Nazis. Hitler spent
much of their military budget on his tunnels & hidey holes.
(By the end of the war, many of the German soldiers only
had pitiful cloth caps. The Allies had STEEL helmets that
at least protected their heads.) They were prepared to
“charge Hell with a bucket of water” - and they did it!!
Yeah, just when I think they can’t get any more flaming...
Andrew Breitbart.
Michael Hastings.
Antonin Scalia.
John Ashe.
All timely escapes from the mortal coil for threats to the Fourth Reich.
President Hindenberg was practically senile at the time. He also sat idly by while anti-semitic laws were passed.
OMG! At first I thought this was about the night of long knives at Free Republic. lol
