Watched part of it. The English fisherman lost the right to fish their own waters? EU is paying them to destroy their fishing boats?

The fishing rights went to other EU countries. How does that make sense? Other than greased palms.

That is enough to vote to Leave right there!

The film says EU tariffs on imports for protecting non competitive companies caused prices to rise for supplies further driving other companies out of business and is a main reason to exit EU , ( a sugar refinery in England is given as an example ) So how is this different for Trump who has also proposed tariffs on imports ? I'm not seeing how exit from the EU benefits trump if because of the tariffs ? What am I missing ? If China imposes tariffs on the US and our stuff can't be sold so people loose jobs while the US allows freely their imports to flood our market seems like a shot in our own foot , I'm with trump on that , but that is not what this film says...

Much of it is common sense conservatism.

Reduce unnecessary regulation, ensure your politicians are elected not selected, make sure the mechanisms of government are public knowledge and understandable to those subject to them, and increase accountability of those making decisions.

All pretty standard onservative ptinciples.

All Americans should watch it.

I think the bigger point was not to use or minimize tariff use, it was to ensure when they were or were not used, it was done with the best interests of your sovereign country in mind, not the interests of some country hundreds of miles away from your border.

And to ensure that if your own citizens don’t like it, you have at least some way to address it.

What the EEU and EU have done to England over the last 50+ years is devastating.

Such as the regulations. 37 regulations on toothbrushes.

The decimation of the fishing industry alone (paying the fisherman not to fish with the caveat that the destroy their boats) but then for the EU to divvy up among other nation members the fishing grounds in British waters, right up to the shorelines and docks.

It is unbelievable that a referendum was up for a national vote. The threats started immediately by the shadowy EU leaders.

My last thought. We are in almost the same position in this country with the elitists regulating our businesses, judicial system and almost everything in our daily lives (free speech is being threatened) BUT we know their names and faces. We know who the bad guys are. The Brits don’t. They have no idea who is controlling them, by original design.

That is scary.
