After getting robbed twice over the last three months, the owner of a Shell gas station in Sauk Rapids wanted to get more customers during the evening, hoping it would improve safety.Much research has shown, over and over again, that people who obtain permits to carry guns are incredibly peaceful and responsible, much more so than the rest of sociiety.
Last week, station owner Frank Schwagel offered a 10-cent-per-gallon discount for law enforcement or people with proof of permit to carry after 7 p.m. each day.
Once again, individuals who go through the necessary legalities to carry concealed are providing a SERVICE to their community. It’s something that the anti-gun crowd seems incapable of understanding. Hats off to business owners like this who provide a bit of a discount to LEO’s and citizens who CC.

If they really want to PO the left, they should increase it to 20 cents if show a firearm, after showing your concealed license.

Applebee’s does not permit concealed carry, legally. I haven’t eaten at one for over three years now.
