LONDON A petition calling for the UK to hold a second referendum on membership in the European Union surpassed 1.3 million signatures on Saturday, in the wake of Britain's vote to leave the 28-member bloc.
The demand to sign the parliamentary petition briefly caused the government website to crash on Friday. A House of Commons spokeswoman told the Guardian that the site was temporarily taken down due to "exceptionally high volumes of simultaneous users on a single petition, significantly higher than on any previous occasion."
In the referendum, 17,410,742 voted to leave and 16,141,241 voted to stay a difference of 1,269,501 votes. As of Saturday around 1:30 p.m., the petition has 1,353,575 votes....

What they fail to mention is that those signing the deal have most likely already had their votes counted - they’re trying to make it as if some folks who didn’t vote are now outraged....

They need to send a message that this won’t happen nor be tolerated. If they want their freedom, this is the call to arms for them.

It’s the leftist template. They will keep trying until they get it but once they win it becomes settled law. Endless agitation until they win but once they do no reversals.

Mark these words:
The British Parliament will, within weeks, vote to remain IN the E.U. and completely overturn the will of the people. We will see story after story of economic hardship "already occurring" and that will be all that's needed for the elitists in Britain to run over a free and fair election and implement the EU Dictatorship the globalists want.

I saw one little news snippet that stated that 39,000 signatures came from Vatican City (population ~800). So this petition is likely pure bogus.

That’s it 1 million out of 48 percent who voted to stay. Not very good. Ok I hear it is about 2.8 million.....still a very small amount of those who voted to stay. Weak.

There is a block where you have to note that you are a citizen of the UK, but how they prove or disprove that....is a remarkable and humorous matter (its not existent). So 1,000 votes from China is a possibility...or even ten votes from Austin. What about the 39,000 signers from Vatican City (population 500)?

Until they get 17,410,743 votes on their silly petition, they need to be reminded of what their hero, Obama, once snarkily said: “Elections have consequences”.

"Over 1 million people sign one dozen robots put 1 million fake signatures on
petition calling for a second EU referendum." I'm glad it didn't take long to figure this one out.
