A man named Marlon Paul Alarez goes into a Florida pawn shop in broad daylight and attempts to steal an AK-47 by stuffing it down his pants. Not exactly smart by any standards. This was captured by the store CCTV camera.
In the video, you can hear the judge run through his dumb plan and question the young mans efforts. This is a prime of example of how far criminals and murderers will go to get their hands on weapons. Taking guns away from responsible citizens to protect themselves will only cause more harm to our society and the people who live in it.
This story seems silly and we crack jokes at the manner of which he attempted to steal the weapon, but gun theft is a big issue to our law enforcement. See the video here.
Is that an AK 47 in your pants, or are you just happy to see me?
CC
It’s not an AK-47.
Is that an AK-47 in your pants? Or, are you just happy to see me?
Since gun law reform in stalled in Congress, I call for the next best thing. I call for the regulation of pants.
No one should be able to buy a pair of pants in which a rifle could be hidden.
...but gun theft is a big issue to our law enforcement...
No it’s not! Like any other theft it’s not on their agenda!
Maybe he thinks Florida isn’t open carry?
Worth a try, I suppose.
LOL. Yep, what about that big bulge in the pants, what’s going on there???
You cannot buy an AK-47 at a gun shop. The “A” in AK stands for automatic. Automatic weapons cannot be purchased by the general public.
Now that I got that out of my system, that firearm he is attempting to put in his pants, doesn’t even resemble an AK.

+8 points for effort, -8 points for intelligence.
The defendant enters the penal system with 0 points.
Darn. I wanted to be in with the first ITAAK47IYPOAYJHTSM reference!
Sorry, I usually roll my eyes at uninformed comments but this is just too much. The “A” in AK-47 is for “Anton” the first name of the Russian designer, Anton Kalishnikof. Care to guess what the “K” stands for? Also, I hope you don’t think that “AR” stands for assault rifle too, instead of being the first 2 letters of the name of the company Armalite that uses it as the first 2 lets in the nominclature of all their weapons. Lastly, I bought my AK-47 at my local gunshot and they have dozens on the shelf if you are interested. But you might want to take someone with you that knows something about guns if you go.
Also, “automatic” weapons CAN be purchased by the public. I have a friend who paid $16,000.00 for a M-16 a couple years ago. The are very expensive and you have to file paperwork and pay $200 for a stamp from the ATF before the seller can allow you to take possession of it. It took about 9 months for my friend to get the stamp back then but I heard the are taking about half as long now.
It could be one of those super scary AR-47 Durbin guns.
Is Anton Mikhail’s cousin or something? Avtomat Kalashnikova. AK.
Automat Kalishnakov 1947. Google is your friend sir. And I said General Public. Good luck getting one even if you jump through the hoops to get a select fire weaponstation permit.
